Also the page 404's via archive.org, but information formerly from gps.gov can still be found here: https://archive.ph/trwOo
Edit: The selective availability page moved to https://www.gps.gov/selective-availability
Even though slamming down the wifi and hamfisting "Delta wifi fast" into peoples face isn't exactly the most surreptitious attack path.
Full disclosure I'm the founder, and I've got a couple dogs in this fight
Specifically there was an octagonal drafting room without central supports, using chains linked across the room and held together by a giant hub to hold it together from the sides. Truly a wild piece of engineering I've never observed in any home elsewhere.
I tried photographing it, which was essentially impossible but here's the best version I could find. https://www.instagram.com/p/DOZxFBoEdMb/
Since the home was also a studio, he would take people on a bit of a wild tour through his home before leading them to my favorite room on the tour -- and also octagonal 'deal room', which is the room most representative of all of his ideas within that house, with hidden drawers, and drafting boards hidden everywhere. https://martinhouse.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/flw_studi...
The tourguide didn't mince words, and came at FLW pretty hard for scams and philandering. My understanding is that FLW was kind of a grifter. Outside of being famous for just not paying his employees and designers, he was working on the side to put up houses that were explicitly against his contract after being paid huge cash advances by his friend / employer. He also famously hoarded his designers' and sculptors' ideas and claimed them for himself.
There's some fascinating ideas at play in his houses, and the fact that he designed the furniture for the rooms they would go in is fascinating, even though I didn't care much for his style. The concept of 'compression and expansion' came through well, when you'd walk through a somewhat narrow offset corridor before entering a grand room. It definitely had an impact.
That house was basically a prototype for a bunch of random ideas he had, including a stage for his children and his wife's students to perform plays (she was a youth teacher) complete with a giant mural of a djinn iirc was inspired by one thousand and one nights.
It felt like a psychedelic church.
We're staying away from the trust funds and shame though.
Long story short, some fraud associated events cropped up last year at work and I was concerned about my mom getting scammed, so we kitchen tabled it and I told her flat out will never ever call you asking for money" and walked her through some quick scenarios and left it there.
About 5 months later, someone called literally screaming, pretending to be me having just gotten into a car accident and killing a pregnant woman, then the phone transferred over to a 'lawyer' and she ended up getting scammed out of most of her life savings.
It sat really poorly with me, so I quit my dayjob at the end of last year and started silversight.ai to solve the ai scam / fraud problem for b2b, but I’ve been wanting to roll out something for regular people from the beginning. This post was the bump I needed to validate that other people were feeling the pressure.
So thanks for posting.
We have more features in the pipe, but as of today dontscamgrandma is backed by an engine that does regular recurring real time phone based training scenarios with an AI that roleplay's common grandparent scams with your loved one with the goal of getting them to recognize and defend themselves from sketchy calls.
Pretty excited to share it. Feedback welcomed https://dontscamgrandma.com

Outside of gridfinity it can be used to generate odd-sized grids via the GRIPS option, make HSW honeycomb walls, and supports multiboard, and a few others.

Ironically printing custom pelican inserts with this right now

Side note the OMB (agency issuing memo in question) website redirects straight to whitehouse.gov, which seemingly was not previously the case.
I wish cross-device-sync was feasible, but it's pretty good.
