C++ not my favorite language (maybe second favorite), but definitely interesting from the vids. Rust, D, C++.
f0llowL8r··on Ask HN: What C++ parallelization framework do you use?
As much as I like new frameworks, I'm going to have go agree. For products more mature things are likely better long term. My experience boost tends to change too many things too rapidly. that leaves TBB and OpenMP. Looking at the other frameworks you mentioned, it seems RaftLib is the closest to Go for C++...although I'd wait awhile before putting it in a production product unless you want to beta test something with customers on the line. For general open source, hacking, and others stuff where your companies dollars aren't directly on the line..why not try out new frameworks?
f0llowL8r··on Tech startups grapple with diversity in hiring, report finds
"My ask is that you not make a hire until you look at two incredibly qualified women in your candidate pool."

In many cases for a start-up that is freaking impossible. I've forked for giant companies and 9/10 tech resumes are male. Attempting to wait for two highly qualified women given our current hiring pool would take far too long, or force stretching what you mean by qualified (accepting alternative qualifications, etc.). Companies shouldn't make hiring choices based on gender. That is wrong, and likely illegal. Use statistical sampling to ensure the process isn't biased given the applicant pool, but otherwise hire the best, and look beyond skin tone and sex organs for diversity.
