Yeah but one thing is lobbying and a very different one is "I fund your campaign if you benefit me economically". That's a soft version of bribery. Can't put it in the same level as propaganda ads that change public opinion on a topic.
Irrelevant for the exact same reasons as the other statistics above: selling more and more low-end phones decreases that average prize without decreasing the number of high-end customers.

So the solution we adopted is a header file that detects the target platform capabilities. And each source file being either platform-agnostic, or specific to one platform. In the latter case, the whole file contents would be #ifdef'd out if compiling for a different platform.
