eugeneionesco··on React v15.6.0 Released
Let me know when those "alternatives" are as good as React.
eugeneionesco··on Google I/O 2017
It can, it's your network that's the issue.
eugeneionesco··on Wyoming's War on Wolves
Urban dwelling? I live in rural Romania.
eugeneionesco··on Wyoming's War on Wolves
Of course not, "protecting" wolves by boyccoting meat from those farmers does nothing for the environment.
eugeneionesco··on Wyoming's War on Wolves
Don't tell me that, tell that dude who said boiccoting farmers meat is protecting wolves.
eugeneionesco··on Wyoming's War on Wolves
Capital? We're talking about some farmers here not billion dollars corporations.
eugeneionesco··on Wyoming's War on Wolves
How does boiccoting and ruining farmers lives help with biodiversity? How is that net positive for them?
eugeneionesco··on Wyoming's War on Wolves
Shame on you, the well-being of humans should be more important than an animal.
eugeneionesco··on Passing the Baton
Push your conspiracy teories.
eugeneionesco··on Passing the Baton
Please don't do that, this is not Reddit, I'm sure you'll figure a way out to contact PAX Team.
eugeneionesco··on Passing the Baton
Are you serious? If yes, ask PAX Team, irc email, whatever.
eugeneionesco··on Passing the Baton
They work together.
eugeneionesco··on Passing the Baton
It's not just the patches they provided for, it's also innovation.

The technologies these dudes developed are used in the vast majority of OSs outthere.

Instead of posting a cynical comment here you should thank them.

Unbelievable how much M$ changed for better in the last years!

eugeneionesco··on A Good Vimrc (2014)
This article would have been much better with screenshots.
eugeneionesco··on Study: Immigrants Founded 51% of U.S. Billion-Dollar Startups
How about you give me a number or at least some percentage, not just "tons".
eugeneionesco··on Study: Immigrants Founded 51% of U.S. Billion-Dollar Startups
How many of those founders are muslims?
eugeneionesco··on Study: Immigrants Founded 51% of U.S. Billion-Dollar Startups
How many of them were illegal immigrants? Can't read the article because it's behind a paywall for me.
eugeneionesco··on The SELinux coloring book [pdf]
>I personally believe that women have a better sense for simplifying complex ideas

SELinux is not a "complex idea", SELinux is a tool with subpar documentation.

A coloring book does nothing to fix that.

>I am sure kids will love it

Boy, I can't wait to tell my 5 year old about SELinux!

eugeneionesco··on ASLR on the Line: Practical Cache Attacks on the MMU [pdf]
Rust does not protect against attacks on ASLR.
eugeneionesco··on Feeling safer online with Firefox
>It wasn't looked at, because no one paid a bounty for it.

I don't think you understand how PWN2OWN works. And the poster you replied to was right, at the time of PWN2OWN 2016 Firefox was the only browser without a working sandbox. It would have been very easy to compromise it.

eugeneionesco··on Letter From Human Rights Leaders Asking President Obama To Pardon Edward Snowden
Never going to happen, Obama administration does not like people like Snowden or Manning.
eugeneionesco··on Creative Tim: Growing a side project into a $17k/month business
>Is everyone in Romania, and is that a living wage there?

It's a very good living wage for Romania but low for what other IT people are earning, ~$2k monthly.

eugeneionesco··on Awesome window manager framework version 4.0 changes
I agree, it makes no sense NOT to have a ~/.dwm.conf :(
eugeneionesco··on Awesome window manager framework version 4.0 changes
Awesome is great! I love it on my Thinkpad X60!

Congratulations to all contributors!

eugeneionesco··on The State of Linux Security
Exactly what I said, you don't understand how GPL works and you just slander grsecurity for no reason.

Even you said they're not breaking GPL multiple times. What they're doing is allowed.

eugeneionesco··on The State of Linux Security
You obviously have no clue how GPL works. Everything is explained very well on the agreement page.
eugeneionesco··on GitLab 8.15 Released
What can Gitlab possibly mail me 5 times per week?

I don't understand why this is not max 5 times per month.
