If I flip my iPhone over 180° today it doesn’t autorotate. I wouldn’t expect it to in the show given the terminals are asymmetrical with the electronics at the bottom.

Plus it’s a cheap belter phone. Poor bastards aren’t getting the expensive feature rich terminals.

I’d start w ‘EXPLAIN query’, if you arent familiar with the output there, you can put it on PEV and get a visualization.

Mallorca is one of my favorites places, but it does seem odd as a unit of measurement.

I’d like to know how many Nissan Altima’s it is.

etxm··on Multitasking hurts performance and may even damage the brain (2018)
I try to avoid the trap of the inbox if possible. If something is an emergency I’ll go log in, otherwise I keep a Apple Note with a checklist that I can add quick little blurbs to remind me of emails I need to write later.
etxm··on Multitasking hurts performance and may even damage the brain (2018)
I got on this train when I got my first iPhone. I turned off every notification except the ringer (no one calls me except free cruise spam, so maybe I should silence that).

At work, I disable all Slack messages and check Slack in my slack time. Email gets checked at 9AM and 4:30P.

It’s glorious.

etxm··on Zanzibar: Google’s Consistent, Global Authorization System (2019)
I have only found RBAC and ABAC docs and tutorials for OPA, do you happen to know of a good source of docs for ACLs like, User A gives User B edit rights on Resource C?

Update: I swear I’ve looked through the docs 20 times and I’ve never seen this use case, but of course after writing this comment I go back and immediately find what may work :-)

etxm··on Zanzibar: Google’s Consistent, Global Authorization System (2019)
I use OPA with terraform and kubernetes, but I’m looking for something for application ACLs, where I as a resource owner can assign permissions to arbitrary subjects for a resource.

Does OPA support that? If so that would be very very cool.

etxm··on Better Architecture Diagrams for Agile Teams: actionable tips and lessons
Good read. I’ve always enjoyed using C4, it’s nice to have consistent notation across diagrams. Another decent tool is C4Builder [1] if you like PlantUML. It’s based on Docsify.

> Each connection should have a label.

It’s amazing to me how often you see diagrams without labels on connections.

[lambda] -> [s3]

“Lambda arrows s3?” Is it reading, writing? Creating buckets? Managing the ACL? That arrow between two really common components leaves a LOT to the imagination.
