Interesting. Mine would be - "Problems before solutions, Customers before Products, Experiment before implement"
escapist16··on The Acquisition King: Reckitt Benckiser
Reckitt Benckinser or RB as we know it today owes a great amount of its growth to the outstanding acquisitions that it had done in the past. The author has listed many such acquisitions and the resulting product line that has helped RB enhance its portfolio of products.
escapist16··on Ask HN: What does your failure resume look like?
Wow. That is impressive. How as the Desktop app for creative writers that you created in 2017 different from the one you created in 2005?

And true, building B2C apps is always a gamble unless you have a product that contributes to user's forward movement.(What i mean by forward movement is that there is no going back to life without that product). Almost all of the B2C products that have made it large satisfy that criteria.

All the best for your B2B app. By the way, your username seemed familiar - just looked it up on Indie Hackers and Bam! there you were. Followed you :)

Alas, it isnt. I got the upcoming, in theatres and opening soon movies information from Rotten Tomatoes using their API and then used the movie name to fetch all the tweets that had the movie name in them.

That is impressive. Automated troubleshooting program in 1998 was cool. Do production lines today have that sort of ability?
escapist16··on Ask HN: Why has HN not bothered about updating its UX?
Nitpicking noted! New thing learnt. Thanks. The HN user interface has been the same as long as I remember and there certainly are a few user experience related things that can be improved. Was just wondering why and how has HN resisted the temptation.
escapist16··on Ask HN: Why has HN not bothered about updating its UX?
It is true that it is simple and gets the job done. I was wondering if it would be better with a more Product Hunt like experience. Also the search is at the very bottom, too me some time to locate it. Also , getting to a user's submissions take multiple clicks. There is a lot of real estate on the user profile that could have been used.
escapist16··on Ask HN: What did you make during lockdown?
I revamped my blog and wrote two blog posts for the Product Management community - https://akshayd.in
