I think the point is that accountability isn't as necessary. A random person will running the show after the next lottery, and whatever bribes and deals you have are probably off the table.
It might not be faster than rails/html, but it's a hell of a lot easier to reuse, understand, secure, and audit.
It can get hard to get some things working well. Eg expo, which has a 3rd party package, but it's usually pretty far behind on the version of nx it supports.
Personally, I've just started using blitz js for smaller things, no need to split things into packages.
Look at all the convenience your giving up, just so you can be red flagged.

I doubt this. If they were all images that this person happened to be into, maybe... But even then, I think it would likely make their addiction to child porn worse, which is it's own psychological problem that is probably worse for society than the trauma suffered by current employees. What happens when they leave that job, and are used to seeing hundreds of cp images a day?
Not to mention, that some of the stuff the scanner would be looking at would probably be horrific, and violent. Looking at that kind of thing all day would probably have similar psychiatric affects on pedophiles and non pedophiles. In the worst case, it might cause some pedophiles to start to like the worse images out of boredom from seeing so much cp.
Overall, I'd say this is would just be a bad avenue to go down.
According to Google, Snickers has 189 mg of salt per 100 grams. Strawberries have 0.

Anecdotally, I have noticed I can basically eat an entire large pizza and still want more. Once we switched to making our own pizza from dough at trader Joe's, I'm stuffed after about 2 slices. I think the difference is that we don't add a ton of salt and cheese like a pizza place does.
Of course it is
Heaven forbid we have any choices at all.
UHK also has a mouse layer if you don't want the module.
Not having to move your fingers off the keyboard is what really saves me time, and has completely cured my tennis elbow.
Can't recommend it enough
Feels like something that came with a graph database, and people tried to blindly copy it.
Graphql code generator is great though. Absolutely wonderful. Makes it really hard to go back to rest.

Maybe someone smarter can tell me why pumped storage is actually not going to work, or why we don't have more of it already
My biggest gripe is that I can't use the microphone at the same time as the headphones, without switching to tin can mode.
Around 2010, I separated my shoulder and couldn't move my arm. I went to the er and got checked out.
A few days later the insurance company called and said they didn't want to pay for the visit because "it wasn't an emergency". I very calmly explained that their position was nonsense, and I went to the ER because I COULDN'T MOVE MY ARM. Eventually the insurance agreed the ER was justified.
According to this article, it sounds like this would be a new behavior for insurance companies. But it seems to me like they are just making this behavior official now.
I can't come up with any reason to restrict the license.
It doesn't actually say anything meaningful, or insightful.
It's just the same tired argument about how apple did something right so they should be able to rent seek forever, and if you don't like it, you should use Android.
But I have had the same feeling that things are going too well for too long, given the circumstances.
I'm certainly no economist, but here are the explanations I can think up:
1. We have had income inequality rising for a very long time. Where things and processes were getting cheaper, but the spending power of most of us haven't been going up much at all. 2. Instead of taxing our way out of this potential economic disaster, we inflated our way out. Inflation doesn't allow the rich to loophole their way out. So, for once, all the corporations and very wealthy have been paying their share as well. 3. A lot of the inflated money has actually made it to the middle class and lower, causing a boom in spending. 4. An explosion in pricing is the natural result of suppressing a populations growth, then suddenly giving them a ton of economic stimulation.
I hope it's not a bubble, and it's actually the economy jolting to life a bit. But what do I know, could easily be a bubble.
Eg, they probably need money not, or they would be less likely to accept a night shift. Another one is how there is more noise during the day that could affect their sleep, etc...
If I pay for a general computer, I should be able to run whatever code I want on it. Apple should have no say in what I compute.
It seems incorrect that iOS would be a higher value target for malware. Getting at valuable data would be much harder. Getting at backups would be harder. Encrypting the service for ransom would be harder. Disguising your apps illicit activities would be harder. And businesses are much less likely to store the payroll data (or whatever sensitive info) in their iOS device.
Only things I can think of would be iMessages, and location data, but your likely able to get iMessages of of someone's Mac...
Am I missing something here?
I'm so tired of people saying crypto is a ponzi scheme.
Maybe you think it's nonsense, or a bad investment, but it is not a ponzi scheme.
> A Ponzi scheme is an investment fraud in which clients are promised a large profit at little to no risk. Companies that engage in a Ponzi scheme focus all of their energy into attracting new clients to make investments. This new income is used to pay original investors their returns, marked as a profit from a legitimate transaction.

Apps should be able to offer a choice of how users can pay.
Basically, just write a mutation, and a react form pops out. Fully customizable per form, or globally with context.
Just gotta finish validation, and give it some real good testing.
