You can't calculate those commands because you're not meant to calculate them: They are meant for macros and scripting.

I'm suprised by the number of people arguing for and against the lockdowns using just deaths statistics.

Lockdowns of the duration that we experienced should be illegal because they take away the citizens' liberties to an extent that no government should be able to take them away. It has nothing to do with health.

It is a big deal because crowd size varies widely between clubs. Big clubs have so many fans that even in their away matches they have comparable crowds with their opponents.

What are you talking about? Since the Premier League was created in 1993 four teams (Man Utd, Chelsea, Man City, Arsenal) have won 25 of the 28 titles.

In 2000 some basketball clubs split off, made another league and FIBA was furious. FIBA managed to keep only 3-4 top clubs so basketball was split between the Euroleague (which had most top clubs) and FIBA's Suproleague which was the poor relative. After 1 year FIBA scrapped the Suproleague altogether and only the Euroleague remained. The Euroleague has been running as a closed league since then.

The Champions League cannot compete with ubiquitous Netflix/Youtube. It will have to be replaced or radically change. The ESL's demise points to the latter.

Americans here cannot grasp the huge difference between the European top 10 clubs and the rest. In american sports teams are much closer to each other.

They tried to do the same thing that happened in basketball 20 years ago. Back then no fan objected to it. I wonder what changed.

I could see a judge sending you to prison for this all the same.

Pro tip: Install python and do your calculations on the command line.

Not all people have or want smartphones.

You have a disagreement. You don't have a disagree.

Ebola does not spread as easily as COVID so a lockdown would not be needed.

You don't need a virtualenv. You can simply launch python with the PYTHONPATH environment variable (there are also other ways).

What do you mean "python install[s] globally and only globally"? That's not true. You can instruct pip to install to any place you want.

You know that it's summer in Australia now, right?

whataboutism is a logical fallacy.

If you like such exercises but for backgammon, check my site at https://www.bgtrain.com/

Actually no, most physical sports are not like that because the human body has limits and exceeding them is counter-productive because it leads to injuries.

Most professional soccer players spend about 1-2 hours per day on training. Off-season they will spend slightly more but that's only for about 3-4 weeks.

Doing anything more leads to injuries.

Youtube.

Malta has cancelled this programme because it was breeding ground for corruption.

He means that a real GM would know that the position is a draw and would offer a draw and stop playing. The cheater doesn't know so he has the engine keep playing forever.

It's their platform, they can take down whatever they want. If you don't like it, make your own platform.

Wait, I thought autonomous cars are almost out. You ruined my excitement.

If there was no short term market then long term buyers and sellers would have a harder time buying and selling and it would cost them significantly more.

That's why it's deviant.

What education fees are you talking about? Everywhere in Europe universities are free with the exception of England.

To do a "proper study" you should be impartial, and you're not being impartial when right out of the bat you call this "a terrible transformation".

> consume far more music now that I can easily ignore the 9 out of 10 songs I don’t like in an album (back when CDs were still a thing).

You mean the 9 out of 10 songs that the music label didn't push for airplay, video etc.

> I mean now, all artists have their entire collection of music on YouTube.

No they don't.

Some people like working you know. When you have small children it's really tough to work 40 hours (I have two little ones) per week but children grow up very quickly. Before you know it you're back where you were, more or less.
