enayetn··on Ask HN: Who is hiring? (April 2026)
Hey HN! I'm hiring aggressively to scale our team at Air Space Intelligence (https://www.airspace-intelligence.com)

Series B, onsite in Boston (all levels) and Seattle (Senior+).

We're building the software layer for airspace and critical infrastructure operations. Think real-time optimization across thousands of flights, grid assets, and logistics networks — the kind of problem where your state space is enormous, constraints shift constantly, and the humans in the loop are making life-safety decisions on tooling that hasn't meaningfully improved in decades.

We're hiring across Product, Infrastructure, and ML. If you're a performance minded front-end (web) engineer - I particularly would love to hear from you.

Here's one of our roles https://www.airspace-intelligence.com/careers/role?=6462d3d1... - there's a puzzle at the bottom that'll be trivial for this crowd, but it'll get you my email directly. If you go that route, drop "HackerNews" in the subject so I can prioritize you.

If building software for critical systems sounds interesting, I'd love to hear from you.

enayetn··on Ask HN: What's your latest failed side project and why?
Writing and publishing longer blog content in parts can help shorten the ‘go to market’ time which I’ve found helps with keeping motivation up and shorter articles rend to have higher readership
enayetn··on Show HN: We built an open source app to visualize data from Serial Podcast
In case you haven't heard of Serial (http://serialpodcast.org), it is a podcast that dives deep into the minutiae of the fifteen year old homicide case. A case that resulted in the conviction of seventeen year old Adnan Syed, a Pakistani American living in Baltimore, MD, who maintains his innocence to this day.

This project can be found at https://github.com/Anylytics/serial-map, we'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions!

enayetn··on 3ds Brought to Life Pokémon X and Y
Nintendo needs to start developing Pokemon games for mobile already. I would pick up a $20 copy of X/Y for android/iOS in a heart beat.

Interesting how Dove takes the opposing view:

Makes me wonder what the net effect of selfies/social media has been on our collective self-consciousness.
