emadabdulrahim··on Cf: The Agentic CLI for the Cloudflare API
It's crazy that some of the best product launches nowadays are CLIs.
emadabdulrahim··on Claude Opus 5.5
It’s not a 100% fix, but with concise output style on, it’s much better.
emadabdulrahim··on Cloudflare Quick Tunnels
Does this make working with agents in cloud more interesting? Maybe now I can see my changes right away without waiting for the build and deploy? By running the dev server and tunneling from the sandbox giving me a direct url access somehow?

Can someone chime in here?

emadabdulrahim··on Claude Cowork and chat are now one Claude
IMO no one knows what LLMs are capable of yet and the goal post keeping moving every few months that building any specific UIs right now risks rendering them obsolete or too slow.

e.g. We went from somewhat smarter code autocomplete, to asking chatgpt copy paste, to cli agent running inside your project, managing session, to GUI to manage that, to projects where you talk to a "Chief of Staff" agent that manages other sessions, to who knows what's next.

I think the right interfaces for LLMs right now need to be very simple and easy to change/evolve. And chat still seems to be the best default solution.

emadabdulrahim··on ChatGPT Images 2.5
Shameless plug, but I built an image generation app with tools for sprite sheet and cutting out the sprites automatically.

Added support for GPT 2.5

emadabdulrahim··on My Friend Aaron
This reads so well I was supposed to go out for a workout but I couldn't stop until I finished it. Incredibly engaging yet simple writing that flows well.
emadabdulrahim··on GitHub is the wrong shape for this new world
A lot of words, but essentially says nothing useful.

If GitHub is the wrong shape for this new world. Well, show me a hint of what the new world should look like?

To me it seems like everyone is frustrated, mostly at how fast things are changing, but not necessary because the existing tools suddenly became trash/irrelevant.

A lot of us are still contending with the fact that large amount of code is being produced and we don't know what the fuck to do about it. And we're less intimate with the code and product we ship than we were before.

emadabdulrahim··on Steam Machine launches today
I'm not familiar with SteamOS and Valve hardware in general. Could I play something like Overwatch on this, and connect keyboard and mouse? Could I play other PC games like World of Warcraft?
emadabdulrahim··on SpaceX to buy Cursor for $60B
World of Warcraft is the closest thing to the metaverse. But I'm biased since it's my favorite game (TBC, WoTLK, etc)
emadabdulrahim··on Claude Opus 4.7
What's an alternative library that doesn't turn large/complex frontend code into spaghetti code?
emadabdulrahim··on Claude Skills
So skills are basically preset system prompts, assuming different roles etc? Or is there more to it.

I'm a little confused.

emadabdulrahim··on ReMarkable Paper Pro Move
Can't see myself paying more than $200 for this device.
emadabdulrahim··on OpenAI to buy AI startup from Jony Ive
I had to double check the domain, I thought it was a fake image gen. So weird.
emadabdulrahim··on Zelensky leaves White House after angry meeting
I don't think you realize that those two issues are related. https://x.com/zei_squirrel/status/1895539811576135866

But then again, most Americans seem to have no issue with AIPAC having near full control over congress. Because if they did, we'd have seen more outrage and action.

emadabdulrahim··on ICC issues warrants for Netanyahu, Gallant, and Hamas officials
Antisemitism is a form of bigotry, no more or less special than other forms of bigotry and racism.

If you read any significant amount of history you'd know that already, and you wouldn't need to prove that Antisemitism is real. Of course it is. So is anti-[insert religious or ethnic group]

emadabdulrahim··on New iMac with M4
Curious who uses iMac over a MBP with an external monitor? Is it mainly for front desk, businesses, and perhaps people with large homes and need stationary mac?
emadabdulrahim··on New iMac with M4
Opening large files, such as large Figma files, eats up RAM like no tomorrow
emadabdulrahim··on New iMac with M4
Been using it for 10 years. It's my favorite mouse to use. Scrolling and tap gesture is the main reason I prefer it. I also like touching glass/aluminum over plastic.
emadabdulrahim··on Reflections on Palantir
not sure if this is sarcasm or just gulliability and willful ignorance
emadabdulrahim··on Mako – fast, production-grade web bundler based on Rust
You forgot Parcel, which is working on v3 https://parceljs.org/
emadabdulrahim··on Claudette, a new friend that makes Claude 3.5 Sonnet even nicer
No TypeScript version? :(
emadabdulrahim··on Israel shuts down local Al Jazeera offices
That was nearly 5 months ago. Did Israel take any of those measures? Or did you stop following the news since?

Again. Reality check.

emadabdulrahim··on Israel shuts down local Al Jazeera offices
Provide any evidence of the accusations you’re hurling, please.
emadabdulrahim··on 'Lavender': The AI machine directing Israel's bombing in Gaza
Except that Israel has no business engaging in armed conflict or "war" on a territory they occupy and control. That's the only legal issue that matters. Any armed conduct by Israel in Gaza is by international definition deemed ILLEGAL. There's no right of self defense when you're the predator.
emadabdulrahim··on GPTs: Custom versions of ChatGPT
When is the updated UI and feature set for ChatGPT rolling out?
emadabdulrahim··on New models and developer products
I believe their API can be stateful now: https://openai.com/blog/new-models-and-developer-products-an...
emadabdulrahim··on The death of a public intellectual
I'm 100% with you on that. I've never heard meaningful or valid criticism of him. It's all lazy hand wavy utterances that indicate all of his critics never listen to him for more than 20 mins.
emadabdulrahim··on Apple's Blue Ocean
The first half of the article was great. But regarding going back to replaceable batteries, I couldn't disagree more. If you know anything about Apple's design philosophy, you'd know the last thing Apple wants is for users to even consider opening up their device to replace/swap a battery.
emadabdulrahim··on Humane, a startup full of ex-iPhone talent, trying to make phones obsolete
Wouldn't bet a dollar on this company's vision. Smoke and mirror.

They claim to obsess over design with their overly designed website, but the presmise and vision of the product seem so out of touch with reality.

Also they've been around for a long while now and haven't shipped a thing except their laughable merch products with their obnoxious and trite slogans on them

emadabdulrahim··on Stop trying to make social networks succeed
The mobile gaming era pioneered the approach where game design is fundamentally driven by the game's monetization mechanics.
