elsadek··on The Windows equivalents of the most used Linux commands
Not ridiculous as long as there are still who need to learn. right? That said, I didn't see that coming
elsadek··on The Windows equivalents of the most used Linux commands
I could've done better with research, but this post has been collecting dust in the drafts, so I decided to try my first (and last) time to finish the work I started a few months ago.
elsadek··on When deep thinking turns into deep hallucination
Users shouldn't need to remind the LLM not to fabricate data when it doesn't have access to a specific dataset.
elsadek··on Paged Out #6 [pdf]
Thanks @GICodeWarrior for taking time commenting on the article. Shamefully, I can already imagine a scenario on how the attack could be carried out. Fortunately, the vulnerability can be corrected by introducing escapejs template filter. Big thanks to @gynvael.
elsadek··on Panic at the Job Market
I had an opportunity to work for Outlier as an AI trainer/reviewer, the point was to beat the AI models. The role doesn't relate to SWE duties, but it was a good money. Like someone swimming in the ocean when he finds a small tiny isle and takes a break for next miles.

elsadek··on Show HN: Parallel Arabic – Arabic reading and writing practice

I new about pivot table when I was working with Python Pandas. Pandas has this feature, and it has saved me a huge amount of time.
elsadek··on Ask HN: Are we upon the convergence of Apache, Nginx and “other”?
Nginx was always the preferred one for reverse proxy, and it has a large existence compared to Apache.
elsadek··on Ask HN: How to get my blog reviewed by professionals?
Thanks, that seems a good starting point.
elsadek··on Don't Update Promptly
Is the risk assessment part unclear for you ?
elsadek··on How does database sharding work?
I haven't heard again about DB sharding technique since prior 2010. This technique was used to separate, in a given table, most involved fields from those less used by using different server for each shard. With the rise of memory database like Redis, sharding was abondonned.
