elo2000··on Why I send my kid to low-income urban public schools
This article is a response to this Sunday NYT article on education, which has been shared very widely: https://www.nytimes.com/2026/09/20/magazine/ny-public-school...

True enough, but there are Alzheimer's drugs in development: https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2026/07/260711010118.h...
elo2000··on OpenAI's First Device Will Be Moveable, Screenless Speaker Built as AI Companion
Interesting that they're starting with a screen less device. Is this because it's the right form factor, or just because it's easier to ship compared something that has a display, touch screen, etc?
