Same. Heck, I went to SO just to find an obscure piece of info that help me solve my issue and saved me 1 or 2 days of asking chatGPT the "right" question. ChatGPT is good but you need a "Jarvis" type AI to be Tony Stark and even then Tony must point it in the right direction.
Interestingly enough, I follow people on both sides of the aisle, and only left-leaning people have left Twitter. I haven't created a threads account because they're blatantly asking me to share every data they could access + their awful content moderation rules. At least there are plenty of options for people to share their opinions.
Usually, I won't use any service, platform, etc..., but with FB, things hit differently. Never in my life, would I have thought I'd be proud of not being part of an org., yet here I am.
That's a bummer for me. I spent +2 years learning French and now you're telling me this is useless. I'd assume I can talk with older folks and try to practice at restaurants, museums, etc. Prob I won't be able to communicate with GenZ but probably that's not the case for millennials.
Well, this one is interesting. Asia. Africa. Latam. These markets are far away from being done with fossil fuels. When most of the world catches up to the rest of the developed world, then that initiative will succeed.
By the looks of it, Argentinians didn't want to continue with the current system nor wanted the status quo offered by other parties. The elected president will either rock or bust.
My company uses lots of libraries from different sources. They are considering on allocating money for most of them. We'll start small but the idea is to keep funding those projects since we use them as part of our core products. We hope others step up too.
This business model will only serve them in the long run. Luckily for us, open source llms are getting traction and we won't depend on "open"AI to implement features on our apps.
First of all, OP's Spanish accent is really, really, good.
I'm doing the same thing with my children and the most difficult thing to control is the environment.
They way We're tackling it is to let them communicate with us exclusively in one language and with their grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, etc... in their language. They only watch cartoons in the language We communicate with to improve their accent.
They take a little longer to talk (that was the fear my wife had when I proposed her this idea), but it’s worth it. My original Idea was to teach them 3 languages but my wife wanted to also talk to them in her language too so We decided to focus on 2 (Spanish, English) rather than 3 (Spanish, English, and French).
The thing is that other than e-commerce, grocery, or social apps, I don't spend too much time browsing anymore. Heck, I downloaded e-commerce and grocery apps just to check out prices, discounts, fees, etc., because their web solution is c@#p, to say the least. If it's something quick, some info regarding a specific subject, or a link someone sent me, I use brave and avoid all nonsense. I don't even bother with webviews, I go straight to the browser.
Interesting. I bought a Mac this year and I don't think I'll be coming back to windows and if this is their endgame, PC makers will go a different route too.
Leave vercel alone, hehe. On a serious note, I've been trying to learn .Net & C# for a long time but didn't know where to start. I took a different route and learned other languages (py, js/ts, R, Dart, Swift) and now I don't know if it's worth learning it just for the sake of it.
Not defending Elon here but I hope you don't use ig, fb, or any other social media platform because, from data breach to scamming, bad business is being conducted there too.
