Mindset and Setting are so important to have right. If you are not in the right mindset, go do something else. It reads like the dosage was also a bit too high for the first time, and while I appreciate medical purity levels in things the doc can give you, injecting everything is just ew. You can get plenty of that active ingredient ingesting it like a normal savage through your face like God intended. Anyway, ketamine is not a psychedelic, is it? And if you're 65, find some younger friends and go to a rave. I think the clinical setting is maybe the least helpful for overcoming the emotions you don't want. Too bad the damage is already done with articles like this one, that don't need further inspection by most of the population. Why, one anecdotal uncomfortable experience by someone shafted by the medical sector cashing in on research results without mastery of the medium, just one is enough to derail helpful research and exploration for decades. Is it grossly irresponsible to post what should be in the Erowid experience vault to the Washington Post? Uh. yeah. Yeah it is.
"You've watched it, you can't unwatch it" is not just a funny quip from Futurama, it's also real-life. The only real way for this sort of content to be reduced is for finer screening of user accounts in signup, which is contrary to the business model of frictionless signup and subsequent steps towards the abyss / whirlpool of social sludge. Another way is to distribute this task among the many accounts, but then you just give PTSD to everyone for not a lot of benefit. A third way would be to pay people to look at obscene content, but you can also tell them this and not lie that they're doing translation, like it said in the article for this particular gentlemen. In theory the image recognition software is able to see this better and better, to avoid humans needing to inspect, but if something is contested or appealed again human eyes get involved. How to observe without being altered, oneself? Impossible, I say.
What was your political stance prior to watching The Grapes of Wrath? You say you "switched sides" but it's unclear to me what shifted in your stance before and after.
George left cars out because the metropolis is so developed that cars are unnecessary. Plus, in a mass surveillance state, no cars makes more sense. There are planes that go on raids, right? How do you get things onto planes? He did not mention any wheel barrows explicitly in the book, neither. So chew on that. But cars are specifically a good question because cars use precious fuel that would go to the wars. Plus, cars are a source of independent journeying and thinking, which is not what mini is about. In theory, the top officials of the party should all have cars.

Oh I'm delighted someone wants to know more. The mag is called electriCushion and the website is the same name. Soon, you will be able to request a free physical copy of issue 1 delivered to you. It is a donations-only publication because we talk about a lot of controversial topics and include a lot of beautiful art and some critical thinking / philosophy stuff. I am working with local artists and artisans to feature their creations in the magazine, a little "product catalogue" of sorts, and I hope to continue working with them to create custom merchandise for the bands in our musicians' collective.
