I am late for the party, I guess, but I’m still developing an ad-free solitaire/puzzle games collection:

https://inSolitaire.com

I’ve just done a major stability & usability release from the comments of a few dozen redditors.

Would love to know if one can find any other issues.

I've spent several years developing a few dozen solitaire/puzzle online games:

https://inSolitaire.com

I am currently rewriting the engine to add ~400 games this month.

ekrapivin··on Ask HN: Is Zuckerberg just a „one-hit-wonder"?
I truly believe people underestimate sheer luck and a good grasp of an said opportunity.

Mark is a mediocre innovator and a weak and ruthless leader. He has had the chance to claim ownership of Harvard Connection before Fb and purchase trendy platforms being a billionaire.

I sense more luck, opportunity, a huge team of advisors, and less skill, talent or chrisma.

ekrapivin··on Ask HN: Anyone still using JetBrains products today?
Sorry to disappoint you maybe, but your point sounds nonsensical to me. Disrupted by AI in which sense? Some very subjective numbers: all my past and present employers are using JB software almost exclusively (which estimates across 4 companies with ~5k total tech headcount).

I'm enjoying building a website with solitaire and puzzle games.

I am currently rewriting the engine for the fourth time and plan to add 400 games to the platform in the coming months, as well as social features such as daily challenges, awards and leaderboards.

My main goal, however, is to make this project the largest collection of free modern solitaire games available for mobile devices and desktop computers.

So far, the project has been incredibly exciting, and I've learned so much!

ekrapivin··on Ask HN: What are you building as a side-project or side-hustle in 2026?
Thank you, much appreciated!

Nice one, digging into it now! Could you add mine: https://inSolitaire.com
ekrapivin··on Ask HN: What are you building as a side-project or side-hustle in 2026?
I've spent several years developing an ad-free website with over 50 different solitaire/puzzle games:

I am currently rewriting the engine for the fourth time and plan to add 400 games to the platform next year, as well as social features such as daily challenges, awards and leaderboards.

My main goal, however, is to make this project the largest collection of free modern solitaire games available for mobile devices and desktop computers.

So far, the project has been incredibly exciting, and I've learned so much!

It may be, I am working on bugfixing the whole platform right now (to be released by EOY). What is not working for you?
ekrapivin··on Ask HN: What Are You Working On? (December 2025)
Thanks for the feedback! You are playing version 3 right now. Version 4 will be a massive bugfix – I am intending to release it by this Christmas.

"Seeding/sharable link" idea is bound to daily game feature – and this is a next feature pack going out in Q1 next year.

Card switch is also in the roadmap, it is part of the non-existent (for now) settings system.

Appreciate for the kind words! Stay tuned!

I've spent several years solo-developing an ad-free website with over 50 different solitaire/puzzle games:

https://inSolitaire.com

I've rewritten this project (almost) completely three times and now doing it for the fourth time, with tests and best practices.

I would be incredibly grateful for any feedback what I'm missing with it.

So far it has been great fun and I have learnt an incredible range of things!

ekrapivin··on Ask HN: What Are You Working On? (December 2025)
Thank you for the feedback. For first one I'm turning it off, this has been a piece of a feedback already. For the second – yes, as part of daily/winnable deal package in Q1 next year.

I'm building on an ad-free website with 50+ solitaire/puzzle games.

Gotten some feedback from HN already and now fixing things – basically rewriting the engine for the 4th time.

Hoping to add some hundred games more soon!

I've spent several years (since Covid) developing an ad-free website with 50+ solitaire/puzzle games.

I've gotten some feedback from HN already and now trying to fix things (rewriting the engine for 4th time). Hoping to add some more hundred games soon!

I'm also wondering what it is missing – any particular game or mode (e.g. daily games or tournaments)?

ekrapivin··on Ask HN: What Are You Working On? (Nov 2025)
Very neat and clean UX, kudos to that!

How do you market it – now or planning to, if I may ask?

I've spent several years since Covid times solo-developing an ad-free website with 50+ solitaire/puzzle games.

I've gathered some feedback from users from HN already and now trying to fix things.

I'm looking to genuinely improve the experience so would be incredibly grateful for any feedback. I'm also wondering what it lacks – any particular games or modes?

ekrapivin··on Ask HN: What are you working on?
Thanks, that was exactly my Motivation! I am also planning to introduce a setting system to let players tune it to their preferences.
ekrapivin··on Ask HN: What are you working on?
Thanks, appreciate! I'm on a debugging iteration right now, will add these points as well. Bugs aside, which features/games are definitely missing?
ekrapivin··on Ask HN: What are you doing this week?
Kinda late for the party, but... In the coming several weekends I'm improving my passion project – ad-free website with solitaire/puzzle games (https://inSolitaire.com). I got some valuable feedback from niche subreddits.

I've rewritten this project (almost) completely four times and tried my very best to make it work on both desktop and mobiles.

I would be grateful for any feedback as I'm looking to genuinely improve the experience. You can help me answering the questions "What does it lack?".

I have a huge backlog to cover for website, but so far it has been great fun and I have learnt an incredible range of things!

I've spent several last years solo-developing an ad-free website with over 50 different solitaire/puzzle games (https://inSolitaire.com). I've rewritten this project (almost) completely four times and tried my very best to make it work on both desktop and mobiles.

I would be incredibly grateful for any feedback – I'm looking to genuinely improve the experience. Specifically, I'm wondering whether it is easy to use and what it lacks.

I have a huge backlog to cover for this, but so far it has been great fun and I have learnt an incredible range of things!
