Big complex hardware is a no-no for true real-time.
That's why AbsInt and WCET tools mainly has simple CPU architectures. 8051 will truly live forever.
btw, Zephyr RTOS.

But it can be done in pure BASH: https://gist.github.com/mped-oticon/b11dafa937e694ce4fa6fbf2...
GNU parallel supports expansion, which bash_parallel doesn't. However bash_parallel works with bash functions, which GNU parallel doesn't.
If a thing is truly expired, then why have it fill-up the commit graph.
That said, a public key - even an expired one - may have value in keeping around: Verifying older historic releases.
Upgrade the whole system? Dangerous. Upgraded and it kinda works, but you'd like to roll-back? Though luck.
NixOS is definitely not for everybody - perhaps Developer workstation is the most tricky to get right. But for production server use, the repeatability is great.
Nix ofc is agnostic of NixOS, is is generally my preferred way of getting packages.
I also happen to love when software makes too-wide assumptions and break. That is generally software poorly written and to avoid.
These side-effects and mutations cross-product with each other so much that computers have become failure dumpsters.
If you want to change, something will have to change. You'll have to do it yourself.
They can be dramatic or incremental - doesn't matter.
The difficulty lies in obtaining Motivation, from a world where everything is comfortable. Modern world does not really require you to do much, so your biology will always gravitate to the least-effort path. That's why McDonald's exists, or why people don't challenge their religious belief-systems.
Do something hard - because it is hard. And while doing that, think about how you're giving a big FU to society and your biology.
Anger is a really good motivator.
Hopefully this doesn't have builtin ads ;)
How does sapling solve that? It can't...
IMHO Sapling looks like "Git for dummies". And Git teaches some pretty useful concepts, which are worth it.
This is just really inefficient: VM in WASM in javascript in a sandbox in a browser, is insane and will forever be slow due to complexity.
Fun for the lulz, but for the planet's sake I hope this doesn't get adopted.
Though I must admit I don't yet know how Yggdrasil does routing.
My bank (Danske Bank) does not. Even the first step of logging-in with our digital sign-on (NemID) is a bit tricky to automate. (MitID's rsa key fob might make it easier)
My bank requires manual interaction, so I have been looking for a card-to-SEPA gateway - without succes.
Reason: Binance offers recurring DCA but with hefty fee for Visa/Mastercard. Binance partnership with AdvCash makes SEPA "zero"-fee possible. AdvCash accepts SEPA, but my bank cannot make recurring SEPA payments.
Does anybody have an idea if QOI+lz4 would improve compression ratio further?
