Would love to start my own startup some day in the future! But I have a lot to learn before anything can happen.

Thanks @rananth! I will certainly give my all out to try! Despite not having much tech buddies (well, non-tech too!), guys/gals in the HN community are already my chaperones!

edwardshui··on Randomizing your knowledge base
Thanks @masterzora for your kind words! I definitely agree the idea's still very premature. And that's why I would love to get some inspirations from the experts in HN community.

The rationale is really to encourage and engage people to learn something new, different and useful.

edwardshui··on Randomizing your knowledge base
Thanks @pinko for your comment. You are right. It might sound similar to HN. But HN is sort of like tech-related. I am thinking of a place to learn truly random stuffs, or scientific stuffs. But you made a good point, it sounded quite like Reddit!
edwardshui··on Rising Wealth Inequality: Should We Care?
Although I am not an American (i.e. I don't know the entire scenario in absolute certainty, but I work here in US), I totally agree that the government shouldn't intervene, at least not at the expense of tax payers.

I am totally baffled by the ever growing inequality between the rich and poor (pay, taxation, power differences, and etc). I was always wondering when we could ever see a significant change in such absolute unfair situation. Can we possibly use technology to make a change?

Hoping to see a better outcome by the time my children grow up, or before I die!

edwardshui··on A site for unbiased news reporting
Thanks a lot for letting me know about that site @dmlorenzetti! You are right, it's pretty similar. Looks like I need to refine my idea then.
edwardshui··on Ask HN: Should I learn to code first then cook up startup idea or vice versa?
Thanks @CyberFonic! I am kind of inclined towards building web app in the beginning as I conceive it as a "broader" user base.

Another great lesson learnt! Looks like I better start picking up some Python skills asap.

Many thanks for your tips again!

Thanks @slysf. Yup, tutorials is what I need and code implementation too!
edwardshui··on Ask HN: Should I learn to code first then cook up startup idea or vice versa?
Thanks @fooandbarify. Looks like I really need to get the coding engine going now! I certainly think I will have a lot of lessons from my foreseeable "startup" failures!
edwardshui··on Ask HN: Should I learn to code first then cook up startup idea or vice versa?
Thanks @thatusertwo. Mini-start-up is surely a great motivation and start! My present lame startup ideas are all in this category:)
