Maybe new rules like the FCC's 5-year deorbiting requirement mean deorbiting-as-a-service can tick that regulatory box.

Orthostatic hypotension

OP made reasonable points; not sure what your disagreement is. I think speaking in questions is detracting from your argument.

The problem was the driver footwell carpet curling up? Seems like you'd notice it's not staying in place long before it gets stuck under a pedal, no?

I do hope We the People have zealous advocates.

Summary: it could reach 350kW, but gets 84kW with V3 superchargers using 400V.

Refreshing to hear a review of the statistics.

I've never seen a Target store require people to self checkout.

Aren't objects at the bottom of a river at great risk of permanent damage? I'd imagine metal artifacts are hoping for a magnet fisherman to find them before they're gone for good.

Not due to a surprise in fertility--fertility actually decreased[0] more than the 2008 report[1] predicted it would.

What could a TLA do with this if it had time to plan ahead?

I'm an apple customer but I don't agree that I have ample access to iMessage. I use a MacBook and have an old iPhone lying around, but I use my android phone for daily messaging, including my family who use iPhones.

High demand for stories from North Korea and no way to verify them makes me wary of what a fiction writer has written.

3blue1brown's video covers this. The effect of "changing speed" is a change to the light's wavelength, not the speed of an impulse through the material--imagine taking a standing wave and pushing the peaks and valleys up and down so the wavelength looks really long. And since the frequency is unchanged, there's your appearance of high speed. This happens because the material changes the phase of the wave continuously.

I like the word censorship because it encompasses not only "correction" of bias but lobotomy of "harmful" knowledge, like making drugs/explosives.

Article mentions canned bread. I just tried one the other day, a surprisingly normal looking grocery store can given to me by a Massachusetts native who grew up often having toasted canned brown bread with butter. It was not quite as bad as I was expecting.

I imagine their proposal loses to Starlink Direct to Cell, not mentioned in TFA.

IMO the top motivation and method of using this tool both is when you notice videos in a playlist going dark.

On desktop, you'd view the full playlist and notice "Unavailable videos are hidden" at the top. Click the kebab menu and "Show unavailable videos" and the list will populate grey-icon videos which do still link to the broken video so you can get the ID.

But videos will also be broken in a way that this method does not reveal (it will only show private and deleted videos). Copystruck or georestricted videos you'll only find out once you attempt to view. Use a YouTube playlist downloader to quickly see which those are.

And then there will be videos you know existed but aren't in a playlist--I have relied on googling around for old forum and blog posts that include the link in order to get the original ID, if I didn't click on a broken link in the first place.

Censorship can and has caused damage when sweeping news under the rug. I'm thinking of the initial reports of a virus Chinese state media quickly squashed.

>A social media challenge has led to higher rates of Kia and Hyundai cars being broken into and stolen.

I'm speechless.

It's already happening. Why sign up for yet another subscription service to see that one members-only video?

If you don't ever use the full capacity of the battery, why wouldn't you want to optimize it?
