Looking to talk to people today about what they are building. Can join this room at 1pm EST

Amazing idea @connorlu.

I won't be in London at that time so made a virtual video event for this at the same time.

Feel free to use it how you'd like.

I thought it was a nice post too!

Value, perspective and supporting the business that I've spent months making.

It most certainly is

Incredible -- exactly

Often times people need to talk to someone to fully understand a project. If you're open to talking to others about your project on a video call I'd be happy to add you to this Project Conversations list here:

Hey! We've been pumping out features for https://www.Vibehut.io users.

We are super excited about the virality and usefulness of this feature.

Starting today, all video call recordings can be downloaded in..

TikTok Format (vertically stacked) YouTube format (horizontally aligned) Audio only

After you finish a recoreded call, go to the Calls page and you'll see all 3 options. https://imgur.com/a/an1coDB

Hey my name is Chris and my team and I are building out an alternative to Zoom/Google Hangouts specifically for people who find themselves living a remote lifestyle.

I usually find an hour a day at 10am in this Video Co-working room to talk and meet new people.

RSVP or drop in at any point here: https://vibehut.io/rooms/627ebf908d36af0016687f24

John is such a legend

You are not alone and are leaps ahead of others because you're able to write it out.

Another month of layoffs, finding ways to get people talking

https://techcrunch.com/2022/07/01/the-end-of-a-second-straig...

Been building Vibehut for about 8 months now. We've had over 1,000 calls hundreds of hours talked.

Rooms are 24/7 video calls. Anyone can join as long as they meet the room requirements.

We originally added events to rooms to let people know when they should and can expect other people to join in.

Today with the addition of the calendar feature, it is super easy to know what people will be talking about today, tomorrow and next week!

I use usehappen.com to archive saves/bookmarks and upcoming events. It's saved me an enormous amount of stress.

Honestly I've been coding for 10 yrs. It's not a social activity, in that moment you're an introvert. You load up the case study of code in your head and work on a few features.

Socializing after isn't easy, do you DM someone, follow up, schedule a time to talk? That's unreasonable.

My latest startup Vibehut.io can help, here's an open video room for Developers, join when you want to chat, screen share your work, shoot the shit

w/e you want, here's the link, login with Twitter.. do with it what you will

Vibehut used to be a 1:1 video speed networking platform. We've levelled up and evolved. Now we have group calls, this room is an example of an 8 person room, any additional people will spill over into another room.

Come chat, would be great to meet some of you

I've been reading Hacker News since 2012 but haven't talked with one person here.

We've been building Vibehut for 8 months. It's an espresso martini video call platform, quick connections.

Jump into 1:1 video calls with other people looking to talk. On a call, feel free to share your screen and record calls if you both agree.

Would love to connect, login with Twitter and click "Start Call"

Awesome list, thanks

In a remote-first/tech world, our lives are lonely, by design. We no longer have the social touch points we typically had. Water cooler talk, coffee walks, after-work drinks with the team, and work sports are no longer a thing.

Vibehut.io is a great solution to get your social fix. Vetted video calls based on your existing social platform and crypto holdings.

I use Happen - usehappen.com

It has a slick iOS app that I use to bookmark TikToks and Instagram posts together

nice -- what's your current tab count?

Hi -- the Happen platform also has a website which is most used while on our laptop during work.

It's good to see aviation companies looking for fuel alternatives. For those interested, use happen to keep track of the 2035 release of the Airbus ZEROe hydrogen aircraft https://www.usehappen.com/events/67517310

Great to see, here's a YouTube chrome extension I made that shows the timestamp comments publicly

Looks awesome

Hey everyone, it seems that my web usage has gone up dramatically during the covid outbreak. I built Happen to help me save a queue of the best videos and articles to watch and read. I can tag each save, search them and see what links others are saving.

Happy Monther's Day HN. Give your Mom a virtual hug or FaceTime.

About happen:

Happen is designed to help you save any webpage you find, from any platform, in one place.

YouTube videos, tweets, articles.. any content you'll watch and read. Come across a date? Perfect, happen organizes those into a dashboard for you.

Importantly, there's some secret sauce. The happen "bookmarklet" makes it mindblowingly easy to save any page down with one-click.

You can tag that page, add notes, search for it later, and have it forever.

Here's how it works: Visit a webpage -> click the bookmarklet -> it's saved down for you.

There are a couple similar services, we offer an alternative and have a focus on dates, tagging those involved and discovery.

We look forward to your thoughts and comments. DM me @usehappen if you'd like to personally discuss with us.

Neat to see the altitude over time graph
