This reminds me of a company where they wanted to put me at 100% contribution after 2 weeks. I just told them “I can’t contribute as fast as seniors so they will just have to do more work to hit your burndown charts”

c5 is such a bad instance type, m6a would be so much better and even cheaper, I would love to see this on an m8a.2xlarge (7th and 8th generations don’t use SMT) and that is even cheaper and has up to 15 Gbps

I worked for a BI company where metrics was only for the CTO, not the deveolpers.

The screen on the wall for the cloud team was showing the build status of another teams project.

And anytime there was a problem, it wasn’t known to the team, until the CTO came to the team because someone had complained to him.

Both interperting and creating useful dashboards should be part of any team.

Seems like a low risk test, it’s kinda a no-brainer. They used their free time and they had it running alongside the main program. Have to remember if they didn’t have the comparison, I don’t think it would be as good a story.

I think it’s mostly from using temporary accounts to hide transactions. When you can “open” an account digitally without limits, this seems like the inevitable. They should look at actively traded accounts. Fast search shows ~1M active out of 460M total.

That’s because they want photos of them. You don’t see them on images where they were removed by stacking.

I’m pretty sure they’re not making masks, they just have a stock of them. Paint shops usually use alot of them. SpaceX might be able to help with engineering and manufacturing of ventilators.
