> It generates and parses C++ code which can be directly used in your application.
Is the parsing part just to read it's own code it generates?
Note that I posted this, but I am not the author

This is cool https://github.com/Frederic98/GadgetDeck
I remember this being a cool feature of those GPD Pocket computers. It would be cool to hook something up to the USB and send keystrokes from the steam deck (not necessarily from the touchscreen keyboard, but by scripts).
Trying to compile with this tool fails with "comp_glo_decl: unexpected declaration"
What was the verification process like?
Also any thoughts on transpilers? There's Brython for javascript, and some others like py2many, mypyc. And the approach in oil shell: written in python, translated to C++ with custom tools
Also [2] is a decent book for overall dsp concepts.

My dotfiles/configs are a mix of the following setup on boot:
- one-way copy of config file from $repo/$path to $path (prevents apps from modifying my curated config or adding noise)
- or make it a symlink (if I want it mutable)
- or make it a bind mount (if a symlink won't work; can be a file or folder)
- or make it a one way copy but add a file watcher to copy changes back to the repo (if none of the above work. Some programs fail if the file they need is a symlink or is bind mounted)
For dotfiles using a one-way copy, whenever I change a setting I want to persist I have to manually copy or edit the original $repo/$path. I can take a diff against the repo for a hint, or use `inotifywait -r -e modify, create, delete, move . ~/.local ~/.config -m` for something new.
Not using hard links since the dotfiles are likely to be on a different filesystem (or dataset) than their target paths.
/sys/class/power_supply/BAT0/charge_control_end_threshold
I could imagine automating this to set the threshold to the current battery level, and incrementing the threshold by 1% every N minutes to control charge speed.Right now I try to keep it at 50% max charge like this while plugged in at home.
I tried this the other day. There's several issues regardless of using the pinned versions in requirements.txt and trying to use debian bullseye and python 3.10.10 as implied by the provided dockerfile. At least these I noted:
- fix deprecated np.bool usage
- module 'scipy.signal' has no attribute 'hann' --> change to scipy.signal.windows.hann
- librosa.feature.melspectrogram(y, change to y=y
- needs CUDA 11
I got it to work without gpu acceleration cause of the last point. If I come back to this I'll probably just look at using demucs, librosa etc. directly (polymath.py is only ~600 lines gluing things together) and hopefully get it working with latest nvidia drivers.
Also if I have days to let this compile maybe I could get CUDA 11 from this https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/cuda-11.7
E.g. (1) open a session on desktop with firefox, thunderbird, vscode. (2) Then grab laptop and go to a coffee shop, connect with wayland-tranpositor to the desktop to resume the session with those programs where you left off with them. (3) Then go home and resume from the desktop.
I guess for (1) and (3) you are just running both the server and client on the desktop, and then for (2) you close the client on the desktop and run it on the laptop?
It would be cool if it could do shadowing, or have multiple clients running at the same time.
