How is this different from miniKanren? Isn't this logical programming? Or is it more of a simplex NSAT solver?

I'd argue the opposite point, the problem with static websites is that they were bad at capturing state. That is what lead to the bloat of JQuery messes in websites and inefficient parsing of the HTML tree. Now that developers have so many platforms to target in so many ways, having a consistent way of state to permeate through websites reduces work.

Don't take me wrong, I love crafting my website 20kb of CSS over static files. Always sign me up for a static site, but for complex websites, where interactivty and state are needed, it's important to have these frameworks.

I actually made it once or twice to HNs front page, and what I've seen is that HN is one of the heaviest users of adblockers in the general population. I did a request counter vs an analytics counter, and I'd say you easily get 2x or 3x the traffic google analytics shows.

Btw, in the comment section of the post, people are posting really good tools to automate things. :)

I know, you could also create a macro to watermark every picture, or create a special export setting. But I wanted to give tips that didn't require a lot of technical expertise, so that it is available for everyone. Also, getting photobulk ($10 once) vs getting photoshop ($10 a month) is cheaper if you don't have photoshop.

I considered to write about these, but

1) some guru out there has probably done a blog post on how to automate things with all of these.

2) I wanted to write something that could help anyone, not only people who are well versed in tech.

But I agree, most of the renaming/sorting/parsing in general, can be done with unix commands.

I don't know, it took me a while to find all of these. If you have android, i'd recommend tasker, or automator for mac. Both can automate pretty simple tasks.

I pay for photoshop now, but back when I was starting I couldn't afford it. I wouldn't be able to have a job now, if I hadn't had used photoshop in its trial edition. Not even their education pricing was affordable for a student.

I feel that the second title is better, as it talks about the kind of testing they are using, instead of being a click bait of "HOW DID IT GET YOU FIRED?".
