How many are going to click and share: "Popular belief inconclusive, meta research suggests" vs "A research paper finds popular belief validated!"
If the position is in so much demand that they need automation to filter resumes, what are your chances to be selected when weighed against candidates that actually passed the filter?
Aren't you just creating more useless phone calls for yourself?
When looking for a job don't stress about gaming the system, look for an actual match that is good for you as well as the employer.
When you tell it to try again after it makes a mistake you add knowledge to the current system and raise the chance of success, like asking him to try again after getting it right will raise the chance for a failed response.
If you didn't get to that point don't be surprised if you get the canned response of "This just does not seem like the right opportunity for us".
The first investor in your startup is you. If you are not willing to put your money and time into it don't be surprised other people aren't willing to do it.
But I would say VCs usually prefer a team as its more likely to check all the boxes. I've heard 3 as the "optimum" for team resilience vs founding team social complexity, but that is just a general sentiment. If you have a community get a tech guy, if you are a techy get a product guy, if you are a product guy get a sales guy, etc. Don't try to be an ubermensch, just find a team you can work with.
But for the first time founders out there please don't sweat it if you can't get funded for a long time, you may just be early. I gave up on a great idea (that my partner later worked into a great product within an existing company) because we were unable to get funded for 3 months. And later got VC funded after working on a worse idea for a year. It can take time, It may require you to get customers first, but if you get along with your partners and can see business progression don't worry to much about VCs, they are mostly capricious up until the point you can show that its a good business. Then they are, as OP said, just bankers.

India banned TikTok in 2020 accusing Chinese influence, are they time travelers?
Did israel convince all of these countries to ban TikTok? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Censorship_of_TikTok Wow the Jewish World Domination Forum is really pushing its weight around lately.
Terror is an extremely good tool to dispose of foreign power that takes economic interest in an area, as it makes the endeavor unprofitable. But backfires horribly when it is a local hegemon.
Its a niche idea, unsuitable for VC money. On the other hand, non financial goals for companies almost always end badly. When you have more than one goal there is always an excuse for management to do what ever they want.
Want to do something for profits? we need this for the company survival. Want to do something financially irresponsible? Its aligned to our values. Unrelated to the core business? Social responsibility. Leave creative outlets to creative syndicates, leave charity work to non profits and leave money making to for profit companies... don't be another one of those that break the mold only to discover that people that came before you where not as dumb as you thought. Basically don't be Crypto.
And in the real world if the truck route of amazon is 20% off the mathematically optimal solution the traveling salesman is "Solved" in a good enough way.
But don't expect a corporate VC to be as fun or cool as YC.
lets say you need to pick a number from 1 to 20, if you take 1235 and mod 22. mod is easy to do in your head as you can just subtract in steps until you get there. so 50 times 22 is 1100, we are left with 135. 5 * 22 is 110 so we are left with 25. 25 - 22 is 3.
I picked 3 and I would be hard pressed to guess it would end up 3.
