Second prediction: Hacking will become such a huge problem that fighting it will force everyone into a locked down internet with computers you can't fix or open up without breaking and new standards will be written to replace innovation with an illusion of innovation. Apple Mac Pros are just the start
Third prediction: New STDs?
I saw a bunch of public linkedIn profiles with NSA analysts and people in the private sector with google maps listed as experience for whatever reason
The specificity of your app makes it that much easier to "reach out" to your demographic.
You need to be on the social networks as much as possible.
for example http://www.reddit.com/r/comicbooks
Also go to those cos play conventions and advertise on the floor. Get a stall
Maybe you already thought of all this but the biggest thing to remember is that it will take time because of how specific your app is.
If you want more and more people to use the app start selling action figures/ toys/ other comic book relevant stuff
I don't know anything about that stuff good luck
Who is in charge of technology contracts and why are they still around?
When does this sort of bullshit stop? MILLIONS are being wasted on something that hasn't lasted a few weeks
ARE THEY SERIOUSLY EXPECTING THESE SYSTEMS TO LAST YEARS?
Has there ever been a case in history of someone getting sued over translating something?
Her interview with alex jones is a year old
What is your webapp?
What are the main features to keep people using it?
There are a few solid good bookmarking apps but they all for the most part lack the option to import bookmarks/ also don't really have clean usable UX. The ones I am talking about are mostly for making bookmarks a social thing like pinterest
some of them are part of my Freeware Index project
https://github.com/Doubtme/FreeWare_Index
The rest are for my website index which has 17 main categories and 40+ sub categories spread out. I haven't made the website index public yet but I intend to once I organize it. I will probably end up deleting a few hundred links once I get to it
but ask these guys. Its how I found my job when I first got there
I wish I could devote more time towards this.
I was here before I found reddit 2 years ago I just never made an account until I wanted to promote my project
when editing or creating a post why is it just a plain text box and not a full one with options to link text/ use BB code and all that good stuff.
The site is very easy to navigate and all that/ no bugs. looks hacker news - ish
Oh another thing.
When someone comments on a post that you make there should be a sort of notification system in place
and then let people be able to do @doubt_me thanks for the reply. etc etc....
"The Pentagon wouldn't confirm the alleged Iranian hacks. A department spokesman said its networks are attacked daily."
"Once the intruders got into the Navy computer system, they were able to exploit security weaknesses to penetrate more deeply into the unclassified network, the officials said"
I have a weird feeling Iran didn't do a damn thing that concluded to hacking "unclassified navy networks"
If the pentagon didn't say so then how is WSJ saying so?
I think there are a lot of people who forgot about CALEA
