Probably not. So far we have not settled on a regular schedule so hopefully we'll clash with something else next month ;). Join the group and we'll keep you posted.

Good point. Reminds me of Mary Poppins where Michael tries to get his money back from the old banker and the resulting kerfuffle causes a bank run. I guess that is part of Posterous strategy to cause a bit of havoc and generate publicity and an exodus as a result.

Yep, see coderholic's post for Google and Facebook groups

Possibly. Call the bar closer to the time and check, their number is 020 7426 0495. In any case we hope to make this a regular event, so hopefully there will be more opportunities in the future.

Any time is good. We'll be there most of the evening.

Huge thank you for the tremendous feedback and encouragement we've received in response to resurrecting the HN London meetup. The flipside to the newfound success is that we will have to switch venues to be able to accommodate everyone.

The new venue is just across the road from the Lightbar:

The Water Poet 9-11 Folgate Street Spitalfields, London E1 6BX http://www.waterpoet.co.uk/

We look forward to meeting you all there on Thursday, 24 June at 18:00.

Ben and Dmitri HN London Meetup

Probably not, but it should do the trick. The bar is huge and we do have an area reserved for us.

Thanks for the pointer. Will give them a shout now.

There is pretty interesting illustration of Naked Short Selling here: http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/news/12697/64824?RS_sho...

The Long Tail by Chris Anderson seems to fit the criteria extremely well. He must have figured out the MGB method before you.

Presentation critisism aside, their application process is not exactly accessible:

You can't apply directly to join HackFwd, you have to know one of these people and convince them of your idea.

While previous credit levels were too high, a reduction in credit means a reduction and consumption and hence demand. Overall, this further shrinks the economy, reducing income and thus savings.

Potentially great news for facebook, if they can maintain their growth while seeing an increase in the age of users. Older users have greater spending power making them a more valuable audience to advertisers.

Thanks for the great feedback. I completely agree with you that the front page is not exactly exciting and needs to be more inviting. For the search layout, I will probably give people the option to display the results in their prefered format.

Going forward I hope expand to other regions, once the usability kinks have been ironed out.

Thanks for checking out the site. The search functionality is pretty basic at the moment. The main purpose of it is really to filter for availability. I will look the bug you found in the next update.
