This is what main stream media propaganda looks like.

> Dr Alawieh had traveled last month to Lebanon, her home country, to visit relatives.

No, she did not; she attended the funeral of a leader of a US-designated terror organization.

Simple - no one asked you to use American LLMs. The same way no one asked you to rely on America to power your defence forces.

I cancelled their account. It has a weird policy of deleting backups from hard drives that have not been connected within the last 3 months. Very weird policy.

1.01^365 = 37.8

0.99^365 = 0.03

This one thing always motivates me to put the extra effort in everything I do. Good luck mate :-)

I think that unless it is for a over critical application like internet banking, SMS authentication is too much of a hassle for most users.

Another thing is that the fav icon is too small to use for any meaningful notification.

Talking about Pinterest copies? Visit http://www.pinspire.com/ !

I have already been once where you are today. My simple suggestion would be to leave on a good note and go pursue something better. There are many more guys who are looking to join a startup and I am sure your bosses will get hold of someone else. Given the fact that your company does not actually server any active customer, 1 month of No-Development would not be of much harm to the company owners.

Thanks for the suggestion ohashi. I will give a 2nd shot at the visa interview. If they reject me again, I will probably approach the American Chamber of Commerce then!

Thanks for your reply michael. But can you please elaborate how will consulting a lawyer help my case?

Thanks for the reply. And Glad to know I am talking to the Nasdaq CTO :-) Anyways, I thing the consul officer did not have much idea about how tech companies function and she must have expected a CEO, CTO to be an aged guy. In that case, is she not aware of Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter???

What kind of problems. Could you elaborate a bit please?

I Love C, PHP. I also worked on Python long back during GSOC but did not get a chance to work on Python projects later. And after I started working on frontend, I have been a sucker for Javascript ever since!

I think we can stop worrying. Facebook has a detection mechanism for these false / forced likes :-) http://i.imgur.com/qf7VQ.png

Although the website looks good but you cannot call it a startup right now. It is just another website or app that lets me do something. You should understand the difference between a startup and a simple web app.

Just building a web app will not make your idea into a business / company. You need to chalk out marketing strategies, revenue streams etc. Most importantly you need to get users to use your site without much force!

My 2 cents :-)

How good is the Wordpress COmmenting system - Intensedebate?

Really depressing when such young and dynamic people die un-timely deaths. :(

Try http://haveamint.com/ or http://mixpanel.com/

Piwik is Good but you would need to host it on your servers and increase the amount of work for you in maintaining the same!

No support for HTC Wildfire yet :(

Max is right. As an employee, Startups do beat the shit out of you and if the startup shuts down after a year, you gotta begin all over again from where you started a year back.

Are the ones, towards the end of this list, Google employees?

installing unzip is not that hard i guess. CHeers to Sramana for getting this out :-)

After using the iPad and iOS anyone who jumps on to the Fire, should not expect iOS like intricacies!

Okay, works now :-)

Does not work for me, after twitter sign in, i am taken to this page: http://console.fm/genres which says "That page is missing, put out an Amber alert." in big

yeah this is acceptable

What about PHP? Will it have same results as C?
