disdi89··on Microduck
I still prefer (https://roboracer.ai/) 1:10 racing platform well known in academic circles as RoboRacer, F1TENTH, f1tenth, or F1/10.
disdi89··on Qualcomm Linux 2.0
It is sad to see that they still do not support Snapdragon products with Linux offically as a product

disdi89··on FUSE is All You Need – Giving agents access to anything via filesystems
Do you know how does it impact the RAG usecase? Do I not need those vector databases anymore if I instead use this FUSE layer?

disdi89··on OpenAI Outage on all models
so outage was more than 5 hours. For some project like Chatgpt, I bet OpenAI would have SLA for less than 4 hours . The company needs to focus also look at Devops not just AI.
disdi89··on Show HN: Planlike.pro – New Estimating Tool
Project looks great. Some feedbacks - 1. Some template that the user can directly use would be great. 2. Also is there an option to show the interdependency of tasks on each other ?
disdi89··on Most FOSDEM 2023 videos have been uploaded
One of the best talks I have seen for a long time.
disdi89··on Embedded development is not like web development
I do not agree here. Writing a bootloader , startup scripts for a embedded board requires more intricate knowledge of working of underlying Systems. Also bugs in this area can be very fatal unlike in frontend languages where there is support in programming languages to be more secure and resistent to bugs and crashes.
disdi89··on Are my 17+years of C++ experience not enough?
I think as part to remain marketable in current technical job market, developers need to keep updating thier technical skills ..whether it is some CI/CD pipeline, cloud computing, devops or completely new language like Rust or Golang. Sometimes it can be quite distasteful and uncomfortable since we are swept outside our comfort zone.
disdi89··on Alphabet Third Quarter 2021 Results [pdf]
