Now if only I ever felt like writing anything. It's been five years.
Lots of people already do this.
Specifically (omitting a lot for brevity) :
You advocate a
( ) solar ( ) lunar (x) lunisolar
approach to calendar reform. Your idea will not work. Here is why:
(x) solar years are real and the calendar year needs to sync with them
(x) solar days are real and the calendar day needs to sync with them
(x) the solar year cannot be evenly divided into solar days
(x) having one or two days per year which are part of no month is stupid
(x) your name for the thirteenth month is questionable
(x) the solar year cannot be evenly divided into seven-day weeks
Specifically, your plan fails to account for:
(x) rational hatred for arbitrary change
(x) unpopularity of weird new month and day names
and the following philosophical objections may also apply:
(x) good luck trying to move the Fourth of July
(x) the history of calendar reform is insanely complicated and no amount of further calendar reform can make it simpler
Furthermore, this is what I think about you:
(x) sorry, but I don't think it would work > head -1 /var/log/pacman.log

In that time I've converted the install in-place from x86 to x64, migrated from legacy boot to uefi, replaced the entire RAID set twice, motherboards, CPUs, etc. It's my own ship of theseus. Many of these tasks people would say to do a reinstall, but I've always been able to find a guide on the arch wiki to do it in-place without losing anything. # Linux People
find -iname *.png | xargs optipng -o7
find -iname *.png | xargs advdef -z4i50
# PowerShell People
gci -include *.png | % { optipng -o7 $_ ; advdef -z4i50 $_ }
advdef uses the zopfli or 7-zip compressor for png's deflate compression. If you want to be fancy you can use gnu parallel on linux to parallelize the compression and make the script a one-liner. (I know xargs can do it but I stopped using xargs after adopting gnu parallel). If you're powershell 7+ you add -parallel after %.If you want to do quantization you can use imagemagick's -colors to reduce to as many as you need. It doesn't even have to be <= 256. You can do say 300, 500, or even 1000 colors. This doesn't allow you to use a palette but fewer colors in a png often make things easier for the compressor to compress well. This is not lossless compression but can work well for simple artwork.
As I've been learning to shoot on a dslr I've been very impressed with how much modern smart phones are doing for you. Focus, sharpness, and exposure are usually very good with little to no effort.
I've never played OP's game, so evidently a few games are out there doing this.
