dillondesilva··on Show HN: Hank – Simplest CLI tool to get errors in plain English
Hey Petar, thanks for checking it out and cool suggestion!

As @alsetmusic already mentioned, I think an alias might be the best way for the moment.

One thing that could be challenging is figuring out how to access the stdout/stderr contents for a program that was previously run. With the current implementation, these pipes are routed to hank although I'm not immediately too sure how one could access this post-execution. Feel free to write or implement any ideas onto the repo!

dillondesilva··on Semantic Scholar - A free, AI-powered research tool for scientific literature
Love this tool and can definitely vouch for it! They also have an API and powering some new upcoming products like https://consensus.app/search/ which you may be interested in. Personally, I find consensus to be a bit more useful and the AI summaries are handy.

I'm also working on a similar tool that combines searching, reading and citation management of articles in a single platform. Here's the link if you are interested: https://tryhexle.vercel.app/

dillondesilva··on I'm building a tool to search, read, and cite research articles smarter
My mates and I were frustrated with the limits of current research tools, so we started building an app to streamline everything from literature search to citation management. Hexle offers AI-powered paper searches, note-taking, section breakdowns, and a personal research library. We've put together a little sign-up page for those who may be interested in the concept we've developed so far (we'll just send a single notification once the platform is up soon).

Any feedback is welcome!
