I think this is the first Firefox redesign that I actually dislike.

Why is every border completely rounded?, on the tab bar it's almost touching the favicon, with container groups it looks even more busy.

At least the colors for the tab groups are better than before.

I don't understand why ensuring general-purpose computing is not a priority of the European Union.

All that talk about sovereignty, and we are giving full control of our digital lives to 2 American companies.

I know someone working in Cyber Security, basically his job is to set a bunch of alerts for the client companies, all already predefined by a software, he basically sits, checks for new alerts from time to time and reports any issues, it does not require more than a 3 min investigation per alert or more work than to block the attacker IP in obvious cases.

I'm thinking of leaving my job and join the same company, it even pays decently.

My company decided to fire all junior developers because "With AI seniors don't need them anymore", honestly I'm on the verge of quitting, deciding to cut devs on a software company while keeping agile coaches and product owners that basically hinder development has to be one of the dumbest decisions I have seen.

Sorry for the rant.

I would consider frontend tasks using Typescript and React quite standard.

I must be the dumbest "prompt engineer" ever, each time I ask an AI to fix or even worse, create something from scratch it rarely returns the right answer and when asked for modification it will struggle even more.

All the incredible performance and success stories always come from these Twitter posts, I do find value in asking simple but tedious task like a small refactor or generate commands, but this "AI takes the wheel level" does not feel real.

If that's the case, it's a bad idea, Amazon is not prepared to maintain their own OS.

My bet is that Amazon is working on a new OS that's not compatible with Android

So Mozilla plans to pay $50,000 to the top apps while his CEO makes 3 million dollars per year, if they need something ethical and holistic they should start with the organisation.

Most days feel like a constant struggle between having to do my work and people getting in the way.

After 2 years I still don't know what's the functionality of my PO, basically he just pass the task from the top to poorly written tickets that constantly miss information or does not take into account or business logic, this causes a back and forth between me redefining the tickets and having to explain to him, causing him to re-explain those changes up with constant delays and blockers.

My manager is part of another team and barely interacts with my work or me in any meaningful way, we have bi-weekly 1 on 1 that are constantly cancelled for lack of topics.
