Hi, I’m an about-to-graduate PhD candidate at UCSC, working in SSDs and hardware-software coordination. I’ve worked in the block layer on filesystems and on a userspace shim layer to enable intelligent placement of data on ZNS SSDs with log-structured systems like RocksDB and WiredTiger. I’ve had two systems internships: working in networking at Riverbed and on SSDs at SK Hynix. Feel free to reach out! I plan to defend in December and will be available from January.
