I missed the counts at first, but after a week or so I stopped noticing.
I never knew about this trick. Just tried it and it bumped Inkscape's performance on my 2015 MBP from "not quite usable" to "usable enough" for my occasional design needs. Thanks!

Those are part of a suite of migration tools that are under rapid development, with the goal of having a one-step (or close to that) migration for any WF customer who wants to move over to our service.
If you open the file from within the application itself (I tested with Pages) or via an external app (Terminal, LaunchBar, etc) then it opens the original.
