deepkut··on Show HN: Rate My Startup - Launched Today
The headbar goes from a STRONG green/purple, to an entirely white bottom half. I would not recommend this from a design point of view.

As a US citizen, I'm also not sure what AED is? There's a lot going on. I'd simplify things.

deepkut··on I was annoyed with sites asking for too many Facebook privileges and made this
I'm currently building a website that will request more permissions than average (which may incentivize some users to use this extension), but as a result, if my database isn't filled with the information that's expected, they won't be granted access to the functionality of the site.

Thoughts? A bit stubborn, but my website hinges on the permissions I'm requesting.

deepkut··on Code sober, get things done drunk
Just look out for those typos...
deepkut··on Nobody's Going to Help You, and That's Awesome
First time I've seen this book anywhere, may check it out. I recommend the Happiness Hypothesis. Whether the theories in it are true or not, they're incredibly well developed arguments.
deepkut··on Solving Instagram's Unshredder with Mechanical Turk and $0.50
Wow. That is truly amazing. Creative work my friend.
deepkut··on Suddenly, Hacker News is not the first result for 'Hacker News'
Screw it--don't crawl HN. Keep the community small and passionate :)
deepkut··on 3D printed coffee cups
These are unbelievably awesome. Christmas gift for that family member who has everything x2?
deepkut··on Proxy server for Siri
Pretty neat, nice work.
deepkut··on Finding a Technical Cofounder
Fellow Penn student, I was there for Tisch's talk--well done. I agree entirely. Build, build, build. And if that's not possible: learn, learn, learn.
deepkut··on Vertical vs. grid product listings - a surprising AB test
Are there any other studies on this?
deepkut··on A Brief Rant on the Future of Interaction Design
"Rant" may not have been the best word choice for the article title. I got the impression that designers shouldn't be so closed minded in futuristic thinking that may or may not be that far away. And I agree with him. Nor did I realize this until reading this excellent post.

Thanks for a great read.

deepkut··on Stross: Klout violates UK privacy laws.
How do I delete my Klout account? These guys are devious and I want out.
deepkut··on Show HN: 1M Song Dataset dev in 10 mins
I really think your website should be more indicative of what MD does. I had to look it up elsewhere. Regardless, very cool video.
deepkut··on Do a barrel roll - Google Search
I didn't know this existed -- CSS3? No javascript at work here? I didn't look at the web resources myself but I'm curious
deepkut··on Castle.so Upload and share your files, beautifully.
HTML5 drag and drop? Great front end.
deepkut··on TechStars, Lies & Videotape
So, you believe the ends justify the means, and I couldn't disagree more. TS is respectable, but this show is a bastardization and misrepresentation of startups and more importantly, those behind them. However, this comes at no surprise... 'Reality shows' tend to screw everyone's perception of true 'reality.' Ironic.
