Everyone is trying to build a POV on agents, AI and LLM, how it is going impact everyone and indivually. I believe, lack of any baseline for a tech shift like this, people to draw references from theories and anecdotes to build their understanding. Thats all what I am doing.

I think BDD is going to be back in style for agent generate code.
When you generate at scale discovering, maintaining and scaling test is the major problem, thats why were katana [1] a behavior driven testinf utility thay discovers behavior and maintain, generates test cases.
This is the outcome of violating single responsibility principle in business.

Your argument is fair but yea, we are seeing adoption because tools often map to users mental model of how they want to use the agent.
I would applaud that the fact that found took bold decision to think out of the box and take action towards it.
