PowerShell Core is cross-platform. It runs on Mac, Linux and Windows.

Most of it is in German. so i had to read subtitles. there is an English version, but (at least for now), it's not free. (I'm not complaining, I'm letting you all know)

It was mostly about the man, and less about his work. i would've preferred the reverse. of course, it's on the label...

I liked it, but i didn't love it. I'm gonna watch it again on a PC (instead of Chromecasting to my TV, and maybe in English) and screenshot the products that caught my eye.

There are other docus about him, too.

I love this series but Episode 1 is not the best in my opinion. I recommend watching Episodes 2 through 8, then go back and watch 1 and 10.

That YouTube channel only has 4 episodes, but the rest (including 2 more seasons) can be found on https://archive.org/details/ConnectionsByJamesBurke

Especially relevant given current circumstances. I'm sure that's why it was posted today.

My Pixel (1st gen) no longer gets updates as of a few months ago. I might flash an open source Android ROM, such as LineageOS.

death-by-ppton When you watch a PowerPoint presentation, what do you hate

Too many words on a slide and too small a font (contrast Lawrence Lessig's slides [0] or Dick Hardt's [1]). Looping animated gifs (especially when they're overused). Bad fonts, colors, layout. Monotonous delivery (e.g. saying ”I'm excited” without excitement in your voice).

NOTE, I just sat through 2 days of slides, so I'm a little cranky.
