If anything, there are services that can deliver your stuff back to you, so this is not the big deal it seems to be.
We must tax lines of code. Like property tax, but for code. Every year, companies (and individuals) must declare all repos. Have them appraised.

AI can roll you crypto far better than what humans have built by hand. They can literally test things to an extent that no human ever would.

For now, a pure JavaScript free site and a JavaScript-free-except-a-bit-of-analytics does not make meaningful difference to visitors of the site. The benefits of proxying are more important.
With AI agents, I work less, not more. The difference is it's off the books. On paper I seem to work the same but not in practice. I've gone from 40 hour work weeks to maybe 2 or 3 hours a day pushing some prompts. Someday, it might be 2 or 3 hours a week.
With the shift to AI, it could happen.
