Does it work accross multiple computers? Ideally the service runs on a linux box on my tailnet, and my windows and mac systems share the same server.

Edit: I RTFD - and it seems yes.

dbliss··on Google Antigravity TOS: 3rd party usage can get Google account suspended
I've built a personal meta-harness on top of agy, cc, codex, kiro-cli, ollama that I use to schedule jobs, run oneshot tasks, etc. which provides a general API for my other personal apps that need to do some inference. For example, I built a personal trip app for an upcoming family vacation that uses the inference API to do things like research locations and plan routes, it basically just calls the various cli harness underneath, so it would look like i'm using them directly with their respective model.

I wonder if that would get my google account banned? If so i'm definitely taking agy out of the provider options..

dbliss··on Incident CVE-2026-LGTM
Great satire. The comedy of errors along the way made me realize that this could have happened also with humans instead of bots. But now it’s faster.
dbliss··on Ozempic shows anti-aging effects in trial
I always wondered if evolution through natural selection has essentially halted for humans for the most part. My thinking is even the previously most likely to die before child bearing has been reversed by modern society. Given that it happens at such a long time scale and modern humans and technology hasn't be around that long in the grand scheme of things it's probably not true, but I always found it interesting...
dbliss··on Magic/tragic email links: don't make them the only option
You are a national treasure.
dbliss··on Ask HN: As Billionaires Go, What Do You Think About Mark Cuban?
Nice Try Mark Cuban.
dbliss··on Amazon tells employees to return to office five days a week
"So, we’re asking each s-team organization to increase the ratio of individual contributors to managers by at least 15% by the end of Q1 2025.." .. manager layoffs coming too.
dbliss··on Ask HN: Where/How can I get AWS Portfolio credits of like $5k+?
I can't vouch for this, and it seems like you have to sign up (and pay) but you could try https://www.joinsecret.com/aws-activate
dbliss··on Container shipping has cratered, as ship owners try to avoid unprofitable trips

dbliss··on Galactica: an AI trained on humanity's scientific knowledge (by Meta)
Galactica: What happens when an unstoppable object hits an unmovable wall?

Answer: The object stops and the wall moves.

dbliss··on DoorDash data breach leaves important customer details exposed
In the faq and in a few places on their page - https://doordash.news/get-the-facts/how-were-responding-to-a... - They mention users “where required”, anyone know what that means? Did they only tell users in jurisdictions that require informing them?
dbliss··on Trudeau Invokes Emergencies Act
Would you not agree that there are people behind the economic damage? Just calling it hurting corporations dehumanizes the automotive works that have been put out of work due to the temporary plant closures that the blockade has caused.
dbliss··on AWS Console Unavailable
Me as well.
dbliss··on UN votes to remove cannabis from strictest drug category
Yes, society has not crumbled here in Canada.
dbliss··on What is expected of a engineering manager?
+1 - I had a discussion with one of my directs today as they were considering becoming an SDM. There are so many days as a manager where every moment of my time is filled with meetings and admin tasks and at the end of the day you feel like to accomplished nothing. Where as with coding you can feel like you built something and have something to show for your hours of time. I certainly miss being an IC, more and more each day..
dbliss··on Google/Fitbit will monetise health data and harm consumers
So there's no nuance to anything people do, there are only good or evil people? That's quite an extreme view.
dbliss··on Amazon Warehouse scam: 16TB HDD swapped for 8TB, returned for full refund
I can't speak for all the companies listed, but I know we've spent a lot of SDE time ensuring we're compliant with GDPR and various privacy laws. Building new systems and changing existing systems (on the scale of dozens, probably 100+, of individual teams). It's more likely that it's hard to quickly change the direction of large ships. I've certainly seen my leadership (and engineers) take things like GDPR compliance extremely seriously, to the point that I've seen it as a cultural shift over the last couple of years.
dbliss··on Ask HN: Who is hiring? (July 2020)
We are also looking for an Applied Science Manager for the same org in Toronto, Canada - https://www.amazon.jobs/en/jobs/1187978/applied-science-mana...
dbliss··on “Amazon is holding over 4.2M dollars, suffocating our business”
My guess this will lead to a internal Correction of Error (COE) report and there will be some change to either reduce false positives or increase the velocity of addressing them by making some systematic change.
dbliss··on Shirt Without Stripes
It's not as simple as NLP. The shirts them selves have to labelled as having stripes or not. If striped is not a attribute of the shirt, it doesn't matter of the NLP can parse the meaning of striped.
dbliss··on SecureDNS will shutdown on 30th of April 2020
Nextdns does have published DNS ips:

dbliss··on Google recommends all North America employees work from home
The AMZN number includes FT fulfillment center workers, so that number is in the ball park.
dbliss··on Microsoft Wins Pentagon’s $10B Contract
I don't think Bezos is inherently political, but the world/US requires him to be so. Anyone in his position would have to be whether they want to or not.
dbliss··on Amazon Promised Drone Delivery in Five Years Five Years Ago
As an engineer with Amazon, I can say with 100% (edit: 99.99%) certainty (without any insider knowledge on the drone program), that PR was not the primary driver of this. I would say you have it backwards. Amazon hired engineers to build it (and probably still are) THEN used it as a PR opportunity.

To say "The whole thing was always for PR purposes anyway" is a fundamental misunderstanding of how Amazon works internally.

dbliss··on What is this Twitter army of Amazon drones cheerfully defending warehouse work?
FYI - Abebooks is owned by Amazon.
dbliss··on Amazon Workers Facing Firing Can Appeal to a Jury of Their Co-Workers
I work for Amazon, but I don't speak on behalf of Amazon. The social media policy boils down to mostly common sense, don't share confidential information and make it clear you're not speaking for Amazon. No where does it say don't criticize Amazon. Be respectful of each other, our customers, partners, and others (including our competitors). You can criticize with out being disrespectful.
dbliss··on Amazon Pushes Facial Recognition to Police, Critics See Surveillance Risk
Can you expand on "literally everyone is worse off", and I'll assume you meant literally in the colloquial sense, as an emphasis.

OP gave an example where he was better off. Do you mean that the trade-off is not worth risk/down side?

dbliss··on Is there a fix for impostor syndrome?
Being prepared. This is what I have found to be the most helpful. I'm an SDM at a big tech company, and when I was hired I thought they must have made a mistake. I felt like an imposter in meetings and managing my team for a long time. I was able to relieve the anxiety by focusing on always being the most prepared person in the room (ie. read everything before hand, try to anticipate questions and answers, speak with confidence [fake it 'til you make it]). Eventually this just became second nature and the thing I was doing didn't feel like I was an imposter anymore. I just recently changed roles to a new org and I feel the same anxiety creeping back in, so this a pep talk for myself too. The thing to remember is you got where you are for some reason, try to think about the positive attributes you know you have, and just keep practicing the rest. Good luck!
dbliss··on WWE Leak Exposes 3M Wrestling Fans' Addresses, Ethnicities and More
It's interesting to blame Amazon here, someone has to intentionally change the defaults to make the data public.
