Mostly Mac consulting, training, teaching and tech support.
For a used bookstore with no pre made labels and books stacked and crammed I’d double the time. Then add some more for books that don’t have a barcode on them...
This is with laser barcode scanners and dedicated machines per device. Phone scanners are much slower.. either way, give me a crew of people, scanners, etc and we could scan about 10K books a day.
Maybe add them to your search keyword list!? :-)
Another will likely end up as a media server running Jellyfin (open source alternative to Plex)
Other than their work i've recently listened to Bill Bryson reading his autobiography, "The Life and Times of the Thunderbolt Kid", as well as Malcolm Gladwell reading his book, "Outliers".
I usually listen to the previews in the iTunes music store to get a feel for the narrator.
