RFC 7231 4.3.1 GET says

A payload within a GET request message has no defined semantics; sending a payload body on a GET request might cause some existing implementations to reject the request.

The example showing how response bodies are specified (media types, content) unfortunately is attached to a GET operation - please use a POST to demonstrate request bodies.
