In my experience, most of the successful teams are those in which team tries to grow together. So the first engineer should focus on how to get the best out of second engineer. If there are skill gaps, second engineer should be offered some courses. If there is lack of team cohesion, try some team building exercises.
Remember, life is not perfect, we have to play with the cards we are dealt with. We should try to put our egos aside, be positive and get things done.

No country is an island anymore. Even Greece, which has a smaller economy, can cause problems for everyone around the globe.
Great to see Canadian startups succeed.
Having control over your nerves when s* hits the fan is a valuable quality, which we should all strive for.
Most of these interviews are tests to see your approach to solving a problem. The best practice is to come up with a strategy before you hit the first key, ask as many questions as you can and find as many corner cases as you can. All the sane interviewers will appreciate that even if you don't end up with the best solution. And please treat all interviews as a learning experience, you will be much better off.

The take home code test they use is totally googlable, however there are multiple ways to solve the problem and they ask candidates to provide tests for their solutions. If they are happy with the solution and find it distinctive the candidate gets to explain the solution during the onsite interview.
I found the whole process very relaxed and enjoyable.
