So where'd you get the seed? Or the land? Or the time to plant and tend to the tree?
Oh well, back to work.
This makes me think of the first song I posted to YouTube. I couldn't help but curiously flip through the viewer statistics. Automatically I began wondering how I could prevent the 50% drop-off at X seconds, and what type of person was sticking around beyond the drop-off. And before I looked much into it I realized this would be a great way to suck all the life out of something that's supposed to be fun.
This is definitely doing something beyond masking the sound because when the vibration stops there is a few seconds delay before the tinnitus comes back.
Pretty exciting stuff! I really hope this leads to a reasonable cure. I'm not sure having a thing vibrating on my head would be any less distracting!
So nice to type "vintage flute !e" and land on eBay or "john 3:16 !bLb" straight to a Bible verse.
I'm looking forward to the day these oversized bully companies become irrelevant. That day will come. The amount of innovation and progress they're holding back from humanity is criminal. Can't last.
You're correct in other ways as well:
The "lightning" network (heh) still requires slow Bitcoin transactions to initiate and close. And it's between two trusted parties anyway, so this negates the need for a trustless network like Bitcoin.
A far better "lightning network" has existed for many years. It's called a shared SQL database.
I got this same impression while delving into type theory [0], but even moreso with category theory. It seems the chaos of the information explosion is being organized and how we presently do software and data may go the way of the dinosaur "overnight".
