I have to say that that part in Rust Trademark Policy also gave me a stop. It's just so weird to single it out.

Given that we never saw at scale other than soviet style communism, communism and soviet style communism is being used interchangeably.

$35M being meh is peak HN here. Me not being from US, getting $100k was golden cufs that took many years to break even when I did not enjoy my work.

https://alesruzicka.eu/blog/eng/ Well, writing and consistency is not my strong side.

I use ceramic grinder. No corrosion possible.

I left today. Very sad about it too.

This is quite important. While e-scooters are very eco-friendly, in hands of large rending companies they usually have extremely limited lifespan and are not fullfulling this place.

If people had to work whole day and sleep in office after firings of their colleagues, I would not call it sensible in any way.

I did not have that feeling and .eu domains quite standard nation-like domain.

It sounds compelling, but it's very difficult to convince free users they need to pay now if your software gets popular and you actually want to monetize it.

Seems abandoned and incomplete? Or what am I missing?

There are people who literally go there to risk their lives and die. Many of them from thousands of kilometers away.

Why do you assume I'm more like you then them. Not everyone dwindles in face of danger.

First think ever to happen that make you mad enough to protest is sanctions on nation that violently attack their neighbor?

I very much hope you will feel same pain as people of Ukraine do right now, because people like you never understand anything they did not feel themselves.

It is cool that countries are listed at detail, but filter by country would be very useful.

Just to note, some subreddits decide not to appear on /r/all, so even there you're missing stuff.

I use Reddit long term and /r/all was always bad and you should find your subreddits to care for.

I wanted to word it neutrally and while I'm not sure about Assange, whoever is behind WikiLeaks Twitter account for sure seems like Russian asset.

It's been pushed by WikiLeaks on Twitter to be used by Ukrainians. Due to some people believing that WikiLeaks has been hijacked by Russia, they do not trust the app.

This article is about 8 years old, so I don't think it's going to happen.

That seems quite exclusive to germany

> our near peers will funnel weapons into the US

There are enough weapons in USA, no need for anyone to do that.

That's not really addressing it. It's just acknowledging it.

Then they honestly loose money with me. I listen probably whole work day (in reality more). That is 8 hours, cca 4 minutes per song = 120 songs a day. That means they pay out about 0.5 USD per day for me. Let's say not all days, but just 25 days a month (i listen weekends too) would mean 12.5 USD paid out.

I pay 9.99 EUR for family (11.8 USD). There are other people on my account.

This is for family and friend meetings, not for work calls.

This is all made to evoke sense of closeness.

With just vanilla JS, it's actually shorter, so yes. It has very limited use

  <button onclick="this.classList.toggle('big-text')">
    Toggle the "big-text" class on me on click
  </button>

This does not handle quotes as far as I remember

It's hard to belive that JavaScript still does not have standard function to encodeHTML to string (as in replace < and > etc with &lt; etc). I know this can be solved by other wasy (as in never using innerHTML), but in reality it's often ignored or just custom implementations put in place.

I loved the keyboard, except longevity (of pieces I personally got) was really really bad.

As for the mouse that comes with it, I went through 3 of them (left button started to randomly not click, about once every 3 clicks which drove me crazy) and then just gave up.

Keyboard itself could be said that I damanged as I tried to remove key to clean crumb that got inside and I could never get it back.

Is it conspiracy theory, when it's true?

Doing this will already probably kill them, so they must be afraid of worse. Who would remmain using them after this?
