Agreed, but what if something else actually happened. Apple wants to broaden its Apple Pay integration. They decide to add touch id, and adding a black glossy button on the side throws of the aesthetic. So instead, they replace the entire bar.
cybojanek··on Tech industry's persistent claim of worker shortage may be phony
Agree - we've been interviewing loads of candidates, and most don't know the difference between a process and a thread.

Yes you can - take the hash of the input and token, and compare those. Now you're trying to cause a sha256 collision. Good luck!

How much of this is caused by people marking mailing list emails as SPAM instead of properly unsubscribing?

Cannot easily uninstall an "APP", but have to delete all records manually (perhaps at least group them?). Side bar doesn't update immediately once DNS entries removed and "APP" uninstalled (chrome).

Great, simple UI. I like the domain searching, as well as the X, checkmark and + symbols/table. DNS updated quickly. WHOIS made private by default :-)

"APP" installation is a neat automation.

cybojanek··on Why Learn About Operating Systems?
The point of the OS class isn't to teach you how to CREATE an OS from scratch, but to teach you how an OS WORKS. I've interacted with a lot of CS students, and it boggles the mind how ignorant they are in using a computer. To fully understand how your program works, you should have a general understanding of what's going on behind the scenes. It definitively makes you a better coder. If you understand that a file-system, memory, cpu etc...aren't just black boxes that "just work", you can code around their bottlenecks.

My OS class was one of the most rewarding classes during my undergrad years. Don't think of it as a hurdle. Embrace it.
