"Here's something incredibly dangerous in the left hand, and here, something equally potentially catastrophic in the right hand." And regulators will, clap hands? Oh boy.
Full disclosure, I've yet to make an exit, but it sounds like you are close to profitable. I would say if you can get to a multi-million dollar exit within a couple years, go for it. If you cannot, unwind and go a lower-stress route. Not every all-star team makes it to the world cup and wins, it's quite alright. Only you know how close or far you might be, realistically, but if you power through and it works you'll feel a lot of satisfaction for having had the sustained enthusiasm and stamina. Either way, you can look back at everything you've learned and experienced and consider it a success, too. When you distill what you learned into material for others to shortcut the process, then you will be a complete success.
Recently I started a fresh music newsletter (https://letter.remuse.co) and I have been placing spectrograms for the tracks that get featured, so you can visualize the song as you listen along.
Nice results so far. "Perfect for the beach" is a very funny description of music, because it has nothing to do with the acoustic qualities, so consider these descriptions to be anthropocentric! (As if they could be anything else) It is less about describing the actual sounds you want and more about describing the quality or vibe of the atmosphere. This is markedly different than incremental composition, maybe we can call it "composition by collage." Puts on COLLAGE shirt like in Animal House
If you can find someone like-minded who knows the stack you want to use to build the product and you can get along with them well, consider doing weekly (or more frequent) zoom calls. Globally distributed means somebody's gotta take one for the team for timezones. But maybe that's fine in this situation. It's just hard to vet people and be sure that your intentions are connected and calibrated unless you spend a lot of time together, so if you can bridge that via Discord and Zoom and texting you might be able to make it work. But you'll need a fairly clear vision of what you want to bring into the world, and be able to convince other people it's your strongest idea and you wanna roll forward with it all the way. I have had varying levels of success making cofounder friends in online slack programming channels for <language you like>
Sorry, I mean for videos where I'm not the creator! You know what I mean? I just watched a music video where the auto-generated captions were not 100% accurate. It kinda pulled me out of the music. Maybe I can contact the artist I suppose. But that seems like extra responsibility for them.
It's a tool to help demonstrate dialogue, I think built-in helpers will become the norm, and some sort of healthy mix of human and AI players will be there.
So I am open-minded and optimistic about Wardenclyffe, due to the fact that a wire hanging in the open air will conduct voltage from upper atmosphere to lower atmosphere. So there is a natural gradient that could be leveraged, somehow.
