I like it! A great alternative place to store recipes besides beersmithrecipes.com.

One problem though, is it possible with github to JUST see "my" recipes, or at least recipes I've contributed to? I'd like to be able to add that to my signature on my beer forum.

Tiny Tiny RSS (tt-rss, http://tt-rss.org/redmine/projects/tt-rss/wiki). I've loved it since I've installed it, and that's even without the iPhone integration enabled. I'm sure I'll love it more once I have that. I deleted the 'reader.google.com' from my Chrome auto complete, and replaced it with 'reader.mydomain.com' so my experience is maintained. :)

Do you have an example of TastyPie and AngularJS working together? I've got a straight-forward CRUD app (mostly) that AngularJS will be great for, but wrapping my brain around it all and an API has been difficult.

What is this? I hate to be rude, but it reads something like "Hey, we wanted to know how to start a bike shop, and had some friends that did. ... Here's their renovations ... 1 year later, they rock, and they don't know why ... oh, and there's 1 or 2 BILLION dollar ideas in here, have fun!"

Have they done surveys? Have they asked their customers "how did you hear about us?" Did they bring on each of those employees with sales experience? What was their onboarding process? Did they just get lucky? How far away WAS that other bike shop?

It was a fine article, but I felt it lacked real details.

I do this 2 ways:

1) I have a constant editor opened with a Notes.txt file, so I can save it.

2) I use Sublime Text 2 which maintains the state regardless of whether I've saved the file or not, and is extremely cross platform.

This reminds me of a "start up ideas" spreadsheet that was posted on HN awhile ago.

Will your app be able to "favorite" bands so I can be notified of new releases? That was one of the ideas posted in the spreadsheet. A sort of "apt-get/update" for music, if you're familiar with Linux.

But HOW do you track all that data? Today, with a smartphone, it seems easier, but even then I’d like something akin to a master spreadsheet that I can store it all in.

Seth: what format are you tracking all that data in?

Of course, now that I type that, I’m worried the answer is “pen and paper.”
