Even better, the Golden Book of Chemistry Experiments:

https://archive.org/details/TheGoldenBookOfChemistryExperime...

Just keep an eye on the kids while they're experimenting. It's a fun read, but it includes experiments like "how to cut glass tubes", "making chlorine in the home lab", "making sulfuric acid"...

Fine, but the system that they're claiming to speak in service of directly contradicts that belief in its foundational charter.

The people commiting this type of fraud make similar mental leaps about the definitions of words like "treason" and "patriotism" to justify their actions. It's not a good road to follow.

"Treason" is one of the few crimes which is defined in the US constitution. It has a fairly narrow definition which does not include election fraud:

>Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.

cultartawayyyi··on Ask HN: Is there a site popular with Gen Z where users can write HTML and CSS?
Any site that they like, doesn't matter which one.

IME, the easiest way to get an adolescent interested in programming is to show them the browser's built-in debugger.

Show them how to change a style rule or make a post look like it contains arbitrary text, and they'll be hooked.

Probably someone who really likes tube amps.

Many audiophiles scoff at "digital" music, i.e. audio that is amplified with silicon transistors.

Modern transistors are very fast, so noise that gets through the filters typically sounded like sharp pops and hisses. With older (and slower to respond) analog technologies, unwanted noise gets smoothed into more pleasing hums and modulations.

These days, there are excellent affordable digital options like the O2 amp. But it would be a boring world if we were all the same.

A lot of MVC sites do this - it's descriptive to both humans and robots.

If a URL ends with something like "/1234-content-goes-here", you can often shorten it to "/1234" and get a successful redirect.
