I'm still using X11 on my Linux box and am quite happy with it.
The next frontier is getting all our shit out of reach of these companies/models/platforms and putting them back on prem.
If they had a fast production run in they could extend to 24 hours operation and triple base capacity.
They did a fair bit of TH though which was manually stuffed and wave soldered which could slow stuff down considerably.
Ruby is like someone mashed up python and perl whilst on cocaine one day.
Some machines are capability amplifiers.
Other machines are shit puking buck passing time sinks.
I created a spreadsheet called “slop” and add the name to the list and redirect all queries to their engineering manager. I’m not wasting my time on that shit.
It has got to the point it’s poison outside the niche tech bubble.
Hasn’t cost me anything.
In the end I just cleaned out all my shit and got rid of it. Less is more.
Smells like today. I’ll take goose shit over this.
For me I’m a late adopter. I’ve seen more things go than stay. I’ll wait until the industry has stabilised or evaporated before making a decision. It’ll save me time and money.

I just replaced Lightroom with it after several years. So much happier.
