Now let's hope Privacy doesn't also decide to close one day. (It does just virtual cards with your bank ACH backing it)

I've experienced a little bit of everything but willing to learn just about anything.
I find tipping awkward as the courier. Sometimes people like to explain they don't have cash to tip me and I have to explain tipping isn't expected on Uber's platform so don't worry about it. Other times there shoving $5 bills at me for driving 1.0mi down the street.
As a customer I've yet to tip a Uber driver as other stated I don't carry cash only plastic. Same goes with getting my car detailed ... Do I give them $20 on top of the $100 or leave it at $100.
Then I think how many drivers actually report the tips they make to the IRS.
To which I don't understand the appeal of serverless besides having no servers lol.
Compose is nice for backups and replicas but they drop the connection like all the time and then the replicas start playing who wants to be master. Which brought downtime to my application at times. Also there expensive so I said f that and manage a Mongo instance myself. Since it was a small project that had to much overhead.
I moved from DO was primarily pricing and the lack of data centers.
Vultr's Miami DC is my jam since I'm in Tampa. Atlanta is nice too.
So far I really like Vultr. 2GB for $10!

I never seen that flow before with the security key usually it's the SMS/GAuthenticator.
Still haven't fixed my email clients on my Mac, lol.
If you want disposable cards https://privacy.com would be better suited.
Backend: Elixir (using Maru [it's like Ruby's Grape])
Database: PostgreSQL
Frontend: Vue.js or Elm (maybe)
Sails.js, Meteor.js, and etc... are frameworks that use/run on Node.js.
I'm assuming they hired someone to make the site/app put it in prod and went with it.
