I do totally agree. In my point of view, Bitcoin was intended to be a currency, not a tool to invest with. It's important to remind that to all the newbies that see Bitcoin as a "magic technology."

Thanks for the feedback. Definitely this would be an interesting topic to write about. Some people might reply: what about physical cash and gold? All the crimes you mentioned surely existed before Bitcoin was invented. Hiding assets is still possible without Bitcoin.

I'm the author of the article. Please keep in mind that I did not want to give any investment advice or any other tips that might sound ponzi scheme.

My original aim was to educate newbies to understand what Bitcoin is without digging into technical details.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the feedback! All those points are valid, and I do agree 100%.

Probably the question of how volatility markets work and how much risk there's would need a more extended article.

Amazing! I never thought about this.

Once I got into two compilers and achieved persistence (with a reverse shell), I stopped my investigation. I did not want to have any legal issues since I found some tokens that were used in production environment.

I reported that to developers and they found that I could have access to sensible data.

Thanks for the tips on the article!

Hi, author here!

I wrote that post two years ago and at least in 2 environment, there was no sandbox or under Docker. I remember that I found an interesting environment that an interesting script.

The script parsed the input file and then chose if it could be compiled or not. Well, it's really easy to circumvent that.

In 2020, I would be impressed to see someone shipping such application without sandbox/VM.

Thank you!

Author here. I'll probably write another tutorial focusing on Prometheus, instead of CollectD.

Thanks for suggestion
