See, that's an/the issue. As soon as people start to flee to the improved model, they start to serve degraded models to keep up with the demand.
This kind of comment lowers the level of discourse dramatically.

Actually, the metaphor doesn't work at all because there are innumerable ways to shut down the entire thing during all phases including the made up "killing us all" bullshit scenario whereas with a virus there aren't any once a virus escapes containment.
I don't understand why people are still thinking that clicking on stuff will still be a desirable thing in the future.
